I'm feeling very unproductive today, but it looks so beautiful out, so we may have to go out for a walk or sit on the back patio for a while (Garett and I, I mean lol). Yesterday was a long day of sorting through things, dishes, laundry, etc. I realised as I was going through Tyler's clothes and bagging up the stuff that doesn't fit him, that he doesn't wear, etc and adding it to the pile that these bags are taking over our lives lol. I am going to drop them all off at salvation army this weekend because this garbage has GOT to go. I doubt if salvation army will even use some of it, but whatever, they can sort through it and take what they want! lol Then I went through Garett's closet and now the second rubbermaid of baby stuff that I need to pack away is overflowing. I'm going to go invest in some of those huge bins or else we will have 10 of these bins full in a few months!  After I was done sorting through that, I did one of my Zumba DVD'...

Let me just start off by saying W.T.F? This morning we woke up and our house was a bone chilling 18 degrees. As I sit here, the heater is currently on and blasting warm air back into the house. There is something wrong with this picture. Mid-May and the heater is on again. Unbelievable! So, I guess back to where I left off. Thursday evening, like always, was Zumba. It had just downpoured for a few minutes and I was really not feeling like going anywhere. It was definitely a movie and pj kind of night since it was so damp out, but I got my butt in gear and headed out (yay willpower). It had finally stopped raining and I got to a corner near my place, looked up and saw this rainbow in the sky. Not sure why, but it made me feel so happy! So happy, I decided to snap a picture of it in the distance :) After Zumba, I was pooped. I didn't want to do much, so I jumped in the shower, grabbed my baby and my flyers I got that morning, Ty poured me a rum and coke (I know, I just worked...

So much for the thunder storms we were supposed to get! lol Ty was really hoping for it so he could have the day off haha..he's gone in just for the morning and will be home early this afternoon :) So still not too bad. I have Zumba tonight, but I wanted to take a quick run into town today or tomorrow during the day (when the mall is less busy) to grab a Jolly Jumper from Babies R Us. I'm going to get the one on the portable stand since I don't trust the doorway ones. The doctor told me to grab one since he wants to be on his belly or feet all the time. I wasnt sure he was ready for it but she reassured me lol. My boy is growing up fast and I am not liking it :( I also need to have my ring inspected. It's been a while and it won't be a problem since the diamond is ok, but I just want to ensure we keep our insurance in case anything does happen to it! That would suck. Yesterday was a good day. It was a little rough for me and Ty since it was Garett's first shots (and he wasn't happy about it), but all in all, a good day. Ty was up at the crack of dawn to head out to work. I got up and tidied up as much as I could and relaxed a bit before I had to scramble to get Garett's diaper bag all packed up and get him dressed and ready to go. I had to adjust the car seat as well so the straps are up higher now and is more comfortable for him. I cleaned out my car a bit (tired of seeing stuff in the backseat), got the mail and headed out to the doctors. I had been dreading that day because vaccines are so controversial (some extremists even say they are like poison to the baby and can lead to SIDS). Either way, I knew he had to eventually have them, because the only thing I'm more worried about is him getting sick with something he's NOT vaccinated against lol. I am glad I waited until he was 3.5 months though instead of 2 months. Let his...

What a day! I have been trying to find time all day to do things. Garett needed constant stimulation today. His teething has begun so he's really good when he's being entertained but when he lays down its like he realizes it lol down for a quick nap now at least, poor babe. Friday night we had a bunch of Pete over for a BBQ and to watch the game. Boys went downstairs to be loud and girls stayed upstairs with the baby. It was fun and not too late of a night at all which was nice! I made some scalloped potatoes au gratin with Bacon in the slow cooker and a Greek salad. I had also made a ham ball but I forgot to put it out (which made Ty one happy man lol!). We were in bed by 11 (I think) Saturday we didn't do much but cleaned a bit and Ty went to work for a while. When he came home I made a big tray of nachos, Ty poured some Mead in his beer stein and I cracked a miller chill lime and we bought The Hobbit on the Apple TV and got cozy on the couch. I cannot believe April is almost over!!! Time is going by way too fast and I don't know how to get it to slow down. I am happy that summer is around the corner and patio/BBQ weather has officially started and we started the yard and the major cleanup we want to do out there, but I'm not ready for months to be flying by like this. Tyler's season is so busy this year but he's trying to find a day they can finish up early and come and tear up our driveway and front walk /steps. We're redoing it all this year in concrete (obviously) and I am so excited. The front of our house looks so crummy from the road because of the cracking asphalt and ugly fake cobble stone steps. I can't wait. We didn't do too much this weekend. On Friday Ty came home fairly early and I had made a dinner of twice baked potatoes, vegetables and rice stir fry and some chicken. I haven't been up to much lately so pardon the gaps in between posts lol. Monday I caught up on a lot of cleaning and then Dolly popped in for a visit and to see the baby and give us stag tickets to sell. Ty made breakfast for dinner that night and we watched some tv and went to bed! Garett has been very fussy through the day and we've determined he's started teething. Apparently children can teethe for months before they even cut teeth so I keep him busy with those cold teething things and try to keep him occupied.
