Ok, so I have some downtime here at work and am shocked that it was before Christmas I even posted my last blog!!
As for specifics of everything that happened, I don't remember much as it has been a whirlwind of a few months and I am still stuck in the middle of the whirlwind and months are flying by without even realising how quickly they really are going! I can see how peoples whole career just flutter by in the blink of an eye as I will be celebrating my 2 year anniversary in the gov't this coming June! Crazy!

Some things that are happening at the moment are pretty exciting :) I went last night to my salon to have my hair done and my nails done in preparation of our late honeymoon!! We are leaving this Saturday at 6:55 am on a plane and heading to Cuba! We have heard many mixed reviews so we decided to play it safe and stay at the Sandals, a 5 star resort where we are guarenteed to have fun and have to worry less about the food and water than at some other resorts in Varadero. 7 days all inclusive sounds alot like heaven right about now! Here are a few pictures of our resort :)

Stay tuned for all of our trip pics once we return :) We are going with good friends Rod and Sharon and each doing our own things until we decide to meet up after we do our honeymoon stuff--champagne laid out on the beach for us, private dinner one night, etc :)

When we get back, myself and 2 other girls are hosting a wedding shower for my friend Shannon's wedding I am in in June, then there's dress fittings, another shower in her home town, I have a medical procedure coming up, the stag for that wedding and bachelorette. Not to mention some birthdays in between and then comes Tremblant, bbq's, camping, all around summery things and I have decided to put together a cousins reunion weekend for my cousins and Ty's cousins so I need to focus a lot on getting the backyard made into an oasis. It is a HUGE yard with so much space, I have a lot of room to work with so I am looking forward to it (maybe not the expense of it but the end result at least! lol). Then before you know it, it will be our one year wedding anniversary! Since it is a long weekend, I am looking at booking something fun in Montreal or something for Ty and I so we can eat our top layer of our cake, drink our one year champagne we got as a wedding gift (maybe!) and maybe take in a broadway show or something (but shhh this is all a secret for now :)).

So many things to look forward to in the coming few months that it is overwhelming and exciting all at once! Somewhere in between we are hoping to start a family of our own :) We have both really been feeling the itch lately but want to put our honeymoon behind us before we consider it. Our house is screaming for a baby (not to mention the eager future grandparents lol)..it just feels right right now, so who knows! :)

After we get back from our trip, my car will be undergoing major surgery--I backed into Tylers truck in the winter getting out of the driveway and due to the freezing weather, the plastic bumper cracked--HUGE hole is more like it, and thus, I need a new one! Also need to go do a general tune up, get the breaks checked, change the tires back the the all-seasons from the winter tires and make sure everything is good to go! Looking to buy a new (to me) Jeep Wrangler and am holding out for a while one with black interior :) There are a few floating around I have my eye on right now but must wait until the time is right! Pretty excited :)

Tyler's work season is in full force now and has quite a few jobs lined up right now! That patch of really cold weather was too cold to start any of the pouring in so he's just been prepping quite a few. He is very busy with estimates and such and I would say he also needs a relaxing holiday :)

We went 2 weekends back and picked up our wedding album that had just arrived back from Italy where it was made--and we are thrilled. It turned out to be more then we were expecting. Just gorgeous! The work and time that went into it amazed us and the parent albums were beautiful recreations too! So pleased with the end result :)

Lately, I have just been busy with work, trying to do our spring cleaning, shopping for the trip, driving all over gods country for this and that and sleeping when we have time!

Not too much else new happening here..What has everyone else been up to?? Summer plans?!
Happy Hump day everyone! And Happy early Easter/4 day weekend!!! :D
