Surveys

So I'm bored today..trying to put off pulling the laundry hamper down the stairs lol. So I've decided to pass some time with some survey questions :) THREE WAYS I AM STILL A KID 1. My love for Disney movies/old cartoons 2. When I'm home at my parents, letting my mom wait on me hand and foot lol 3. Love walking through toy departments! Can't wait for the excuse to buy this stuff again! :) THREE WAYS I AM ALREADY OLD 1. Feel much older then my age based on where we are in life 2. Living with so many bills and responsibilities *sighs 3. Having to deal with home repairs makes me feel old. When did duct cleanings become a better way to spend money then shoes??? Lol THREE THINGS I WANT TO DO 1. Have a few kids 2. Travel the world 3. Be a stay at home mom and business owner THREE WAYS THAT I’M A STEREOTYPICAL “GIRL” 1. Love shopping 2. Happy Friday everyone--you made it! Lol Today marks 39 weeks in my pregnancy and I feel then end approaching. Last night was incredibly uncomfortable and was suffering some minor cramps. Seems the membrane sweep my doctor did on Weds has managed to at least shake things up a bit :) Boys as a first are said to not last the entire 40 weeks of gestation so we're keeping alert! The exercise ball has been my savior for the last few days--it relieves so much pressure!! Tonight we have to do a big grocery trip--it's amazing how much more food we go through with me being home all day lol. After my last trip, I told the hubby I need his help with the groceries now. It's just too much going up and down the aisles for an hour, loading up the conveyor belt, putting it in the cart, unloading into the trunk, unloading at home and putting it all away. I just don't have the energy:( so hopefully he's done a bit early today and we can get it over and done with! Tomorrow, we are p...

Well..we're 10 days from my due date and it's starting to feel like I won't be going early like they were predicting. In fact, I feel like this isn't real and that I'll NEVER get to see my little man :( but I have heard that dreaded fact of..just when you think you can't go any longer, you do, and then you have the baby lol. I guess the end is at least in sight. My doc said if I go over, he'll only let me go over by 10 days..so Feb 5th at the absolute latest...I'm seriously hoping I don't have to go feeling huge, uncomfortable and tired for the next 20 days though! Tomorrow is my next doctors appointment so we'll see if I've started dilating or anything. On Sunday we were out for breakfast that got cut very very short. I thought I was in labour having crazy painful contraction feelings, but was coming in waves way too fast to be real labour. I was probably just dehydrated a bit since it was so early but regardless, we left the restaurant and ...

I finally caught up in some sleep! :) The last week or so I have been having awful rests..not able to get to sleep or waking up every hour because I'm uncomfortable or have to go to the washroom or am starving or something! Last night was not much different but when Ty got up at 6:30 and took off for work, I got up for a bit and called Service Canada to finish up all my mat leave stuff and then zonked out on the couch from 9:30 until almost noon :) wasn't a lot of sleep, but just enough to give me a boost of energy. So I got up, went and got the mail, threw the laundry in (so nice to be home to stay on top of it now lol), went through my flyers, had some lunch, plugged in the baby monitors and read the instructions, went through some more baby stuff to organize it, did some dishes, figured out dinner and am now watching a made for tv movie with Molly Ringwald in it LOL Yesterday, Ty and I had our doctors appointment to do my group B strep test..I was very nervous for this si...

I am feeling so, so uncomfortable today. There's no way to sit or lay or stand that I can find relief from the pressure and tightness in my pelvis and tummy. So, I decided to repack my diaper and hospital bags in a way that made more space for the last few things I need to toss in. I have decided Tyler will need his own bag since I can't fit everything in my new hospital bag (I know, I'm packing too much but when I'm away from home--especially being in the hospital--I will want as many homey familiar things as possible!).   As Tyler was cooking a big breakfast this morning, I took the liberty of taking pictures of what I put in my bags (I have seen lots of mommies to be doing this in the blogging world, so here goes!):  First thing's first. Here is my new hospital bag courtesy of my husband for Christmas :) I have been looking for an excuse to get one of these bags, and this was the perfect time! lol I just got it in the mail on Jan 4 and couldn't wait to...

First time writing 2013 in current day time aside from cheques I post dated for my pension and benefits and such lol. It feels weird!! This New Years was quite a bit different then those of the past. Thankfully, we had a quiet night in with pizza, movies/tv, snacks, some drinks and good company (not too many people, which was key!) so I didn't miss the loud party scene very much when you get a taste of how relaxing the night could actually be :) It was a good day of cleaning and relaxing before everyone got here and we weren't too late to bed :) I am so appreciative of the last year. It really was one of the best yet. They just seem to keep getting better every year! I thought that 2011 would be hard to beat since it was my lucky champagne birthday year and it seemed to live up to its expectations but 2012 was equally amazing! We went on the most wonderful honeymoon with some of the best friends a couple could ask for and two people who will continue to be a major part in o...
