First time writing 2013 in current day time aside from cheques I post dated for my pension and benefits and such lol. It feels weird!! This New Years was quite a bit different then those of the past. Thankfully, we had a quiet night in with pizza, movies/tv, snacks, some drinks and good company (not too many people, which was key!) so I didn't miss the loud party scene very much when you get a taste of how relaxing the night could actually be :) It was a good day of cleaning and relaxing before everyone got here and we weren't too late to bed :) I am so appreciative of the last year. It really was one of the best yet. They just seem to keep getting better every year! I thought that 2011 would be hard to beat since it was my lucky champagne birthday year and it seemed to live up to its expectations but 2012 was equally amazing! We went on the most wonderful honeymoon with some of the best friends a couple could ask for and two people who will continue to be a major part in ours (and our sons) lives! We both got new vehicles, Tyler's company took off very well, we have a beautiful home, food on the table, hosted our first annual cousins weekend, and celebrated everyday that we are so blessed to have such wonderful, supportive and caring family and friends. Things are about to change in our lives forever and being able to reflect on all of this makes me more aware of how wonderful the rest of our lives will continue to be :) I hope everyone had a wonderful new years eve and had that special moment of reflection and gratitude! Bring on 2013!!!!! Tomorrow, I have to head to town a bit early since I keep thinking of more and more things I need to buy for the baby/hospital, etc. I'll be heading to Bonnie Togs, Walmart and probably Sears after. M doctors appointment is not until 2 so I'll have some time :) I also need to pop into the post office and Service Ontario to renew my liscence since I got the letter in the mail. I am excited to see the doctor as I look forward to our visits and I want him to give more of and of how I'm coming along and what he thinks! I'm hoping my parents come up on the third (that the weather is good) so we can go pick out one of ,y Christmas gifts..a new stand up deep freezer so I can go on the 4th and do my big grocery trip to buy everything i need for the ore made meals! I can't wait for this to be done. I'm aiming for about 20-30 breakfast and lunches and about 50 dinners. One of my friends due in March did 50 dinners in one day, so I'm hoping that's all it takes :) Today was so relaxing. Since the house is cleaned (I gave up in the last of the laundry for the day lol) we went for some breakfast in the morning and said bye o those who stayed over, took a nice nap, watched a lot of tv, ate more food and layer in bed! Lol I just took a warm bath and now I'm sipping on some orange juice watching keeping up with the kardashians and blogging! I am thoroughly enjoying my lazy day!
