Things I'm loving this Wednesday

I am in a particularly good mood today. I don't know why, it's hard to explain--even after a rough morning : ain't nothing bringing me down today!

...I am loving that Christmas is coming up soon. I just have to wrap all of the gifts. My last order of toys for G came yesterday and I went through everything and I am so done!

...I am loving that I got a head start on Garett's birthday and ordered his birthday invites, thank you cards, and personalized envelopes, as well as personalized stickers to seal the envelopes :) I have my cart full for the rest of his birthday gear, so all I have to do is submit that, and order his cake. And figure out what to do for a birthday gift.

...I am loving that we slept in today. I usually wake up at 6:05 to get ready and am out the door by 6:35. Today I woke up at 6:40 because I was the one taking Garett to daycare, so we slept in a bit. I got to work at 8:00 :) I hope that extra hour makes the day go fast. I have a big list of stuff I want to catch up on, so that usually helps the day pass by!

...I am loving that Friday is a short day too. Some of us are leaving at 1:30 to head over to an escape room and then lunch at the lonestar :) mmm

...Garett took his first shower with me the other night, and he loved it. He loves his baths, but I think it will be a tough call for him on whether he wants a bath or a shower now lol (He will probably demand both in the same night haha). He had a bath last night though, and also soaked his feet in the sink for like 30 minutes. He's definitely a water kid!

...After how long last weekend felt with not really doing anything, I am looking to find something for us to all do this weekend. I hate sitting at home watching the seconds tick by when we could be out doing fun stuff together!

...That there is no snow yet! Sure, I love nice white fluffy snow falling from the sky for Christmas, but I don't look forward to the messy roads, brushing the car off, running the car to warm it up, etc

...Tyler's winter hours being 8-4! We have him home 30 minutes after we get home every night! It's great lol

...How into the Elf on the Shelf Garett is. I personally think he's a little scary, but Garett loves him now, and everyone at daycare has one, so it makes the story seem much more believable :) And who am I to kill that magic?

...That it's hump day!!!

  1. I make Maddy get a shower sometimes when time is rushed but she prefers a bath just like me, I think I have showered like 3 times in my life! Tanner wants to shower but I want to get grippy things on the bottom of the tub first...
