This trip went much faster than the rest ever have! I think we are getting to a better age with the kids--Keira is beyond the point of caring when we go (she loves her aunt Val and daycare lol), and Garett is excited for us to come back and give him his presents and hear about all of our adventures and see pictures of the beach. Everytime we facetimed, he was SO taken with the view from our room of the pool and ocean, he always said "Oh my Gosh! That's the best!!!" haha. Makes it a little easier on us to leave! On March 12, after dinner, we dropped Garett off with my mother-in-law. He had a sleepover at her house that night, and Val came to our house to sleep, since we had to be on the road around 6:50AM, so we couldn't bring Keira to daycare. The bags were packed and ready by the door, the instructions were out and the fridge and cupboards were beyond stocked. We were ready. I legitimately did almost NOTHING this weekend, and it was AMAZING. One more quiet weekend before we leave. The way I see it is: a night out--paying a sitter, food, drinks, ubers--it costs so much money, so I would rather save that and put it towards another excursion, since the once I WANT to go on are like $250USD/person. Tyler's probably freaked out by me being the one that's like "no, let's not go out tonight" lol Usually he's the voice of reason! Friday was a playday at Garett's school, so he was POOPED when he got home. We were all pretty tired, so we didn't cook our fancy Friday night dinner. Garett requested pizza (UGHHHH), so we ordered from Tony's around the corner and everyone else had pizza, and I ordered a different platter. We watched a bit of Hercules with dinner, and then it was baths and bed for the kids! I was exhausted also, and took a bath and was in bed by 8:30, so Tyler went and played some video games and came up around 11....
