Random life update

- Garett has learned how to play Pokémon cards, and is obsessed you guys. Side note, good thing I ordered extra birthday invites, because little missy had to "help".





-When tyler tries his hand at fancy meals--filet, baked potato and garden veggies. It was super tasty though :)





- Studying hard for my midterm. I got an A-, so it dragged my A+ grade down to an A so far. Final is this coming weekend!



-After I completed my midterm, I went home to an empty house. Tyler had the kids at Rod and Sharons for a swim, so I caught up on Jersey Shore Family reunion, had a little snack and drink!




-I got to steal Garett away one day. We went to Marble Slab Creamery.



- We also visited the PetSmart and ALMOST walked away with a guinea pig or Gerbil. Then I remembered it would be Tyler and I cleaning up the cage and having to touch the creature. yuck



-Garett's new glasses arrived. The orange sides glow green in the dark.


-We got a night out to watch Tyler play a gig at Babylon. We went out for dinner beforehand, and went out dancing. We were in bed around 1AM.


-The kids have really been enjoying this inflatable pool/slide/sprinkler/accessories. It's the perfect depth, it's huge, and it was on sale from like $70 to $35!




-Garett's school had a fun fair/family bbq, but it was mostly inside because of the crummy weather. Bouncy Castles, starz gymnastics, raffles, facepainting, etc. Then the firetrucks came and we were some of the only people that braved the rain to visit.




-Garett's fathers day stuff from school lol






-Father's day breakfast in the Wood house.


-TOO hot of a day=laying in a makeshift bed with snacks watching movies!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
