At the risk of sounding whiney--thank GOD it's Friday. It has been the week from H-E-L-L. I guess everyone has those weeks they just feel unnecessary and under valued/appreciated. That was me this week..at work, not home It was a typical week--more just a feeling I had about it. I just feel like it's time for a change of scenery I guess :) Getting itchy feet! Speaking of itchy feet--been looking at houses online--come October, we will be able to escape the Capital Gains Tax when we sell our place so I think we're looking to move...I change my mind weekly about this. On the one hand, I love my house, I hand picked everything in there and it reflects Ty and I perfectly--and it is the perfect size for the 2 of us plus the little one on the way and it is so nice to just sit and relax and know mostly everything we wanted to do to it is done (with the exception of a couple things LOL). I can picture myself raising our baby there, but once we have more, I am just not comfortab...

I cannot believe July is almost over! For the last few weeks feeling like they've been dragging on, the months seem to be going by SO quickly!! Things have been fairly hectic at work and very, very calm at home :) Weekends seem to be the busiest time though! Last night, I got home and my wall decal for the babies room had arrived! It is so big (much bigger than I thought) and I was so happy! It is so cute, I cannot wait to put it up :) It is the perfect thing for the wall over a crib!! The great things about those are that they can peel off after however long when you're done with it and there's no holes in the wall to patch over :) We had a quick dinner of leftovers last night, we each took our showers and laid in bed and watched about 20 minutes of tv before we shut it off around 8:20 pm lol..we were both out very quickly! Tyler also had an early morning today so he was more than on board with an 8.5 hour sleep! lol This weekend is pretty eventful too--but I am loo...

In a world there is so much bad news being reported on everyday, I am so happy to be bringing life into the world. On the radio this morning alone, I heard about 3 gun related incidents. How disgusting will the world get before people decide to change? Instead, I choose to flip the station and listen to some upbeat music :) Yesterday, I went to the Doctor's and got to heart the little (or I should say BIG ) heartbeat again :) She/he is getting so strong, I can't believe it! I just can't wait for baby to finally be here so I can hold them and smell them and watch them grow and learn and see how funny and smart they are and watch their personality grow! 27 more weeks until I can do this! hehe. I have read that reading to baby from week 14 onwards can help them intellectually and also, they can remember tones and rhythms outside utero of things read to them on the inside. I have a list of recommended books and will be picking those up in the next few days, along with some big...

Well, it’s been a while! I haven’t had much spare time to put pen to paper here (or fingers to keyboard, if you will!). I don’t even know where to begin! So much has been going on and I think it was like Christmas the last time I posted. I guess I will just start… In April, Ty and I went on our Honeymoon to Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort in Veradero, Cuba. It was amazing! All inclusive is definitely the way to travel—though when you travel to Cuba, make sure you bring a credit card that is not based out of the USA or you will not be able to get any more money out J Thank God we brought enough—we tried to get out more at the International bank—no go! We missed out on one or two more excursions we would have liked to go on but decided it wasn’t a big deal anyways—pretty hard to be disappointed when you are surrounded by white sand and warm, calm ocean with a Bahama Mama drink in hand! J We started to feel a bit queasy around day 5 (just from the sheer difference in how food is p...
