What is Garett Getting for Christmas?

This year, we decided to make a "Wish List" on the Toys R Us site. We always scramble to put together a list of toys for each side of the family, because, let's be honest, Garett doesn't go without much. And that's fine. Until Christmas or birthday's roll around, and we don't have many ideas. By making the list, we only had to make one isolated guess as to what he would like. The other problem being that my kid has a wide variety of interests. He pretty much likes ANYTHING, and EVERYTHING, so it makes it easier to go overboard on him. So, we really limited ourselves this year, especially knowing his birthday is one short month after Christmas.

So here are a few ideas for my toddler boy that we purchased:

Imaginext Fire Command Center:He is a sucker for anything fire/ firetruck/fireman related. He LOVES wearing his fireman boots and hat around pretending he is a fireman, and "sliding" down the post in the basement yelling "Fireman Garett, to the rescue!!!". So couldn't really go wrong with this one--all yours for $44.99 at Toys R Us

Rawlings Tee-ball full game set:Garett definitely picked up the agile and athletic gene from my side of the family. We are trying to harness his energy and figure out a sport he would like to sign up for in the coming summer or two. He's really taken with the idea of baseball right now, so we bought him this Tee-ball set. Only $24.99 online at Toys R Us

Tonka Tow Truck:He LOVES ALL things that go vroom. He loves hooking up other cars and towing them with his smaller versions, or playing with the big versions at my parents house. So thought I would get him one of his own. Regular $45 at Toys R Us, but I got mine on sale for Cyber Monday for $28. They look like they're sold out on the website right now.

Crazy Forts:
Garett is DEEP in the phase of loving forts AND of loving to build. So this is truly the best of both worlds. He can build to his little hearts content, and we can throw a sheet on top and have his fort made. Also, clean up is easy!

Anything and everything Paw Patrol.
He's not super keen on the show right now, but he still LOVES his paw patrol toys. So I got him a wide variety of toys.

Imaginarium Bouncy Dragon:
Garett is into riding on our backs or jumping on us yelling " YEEHAW!" so I'm hoping by having this big bouncy dragon, that he will choose to jump on this instead :) $29.99 at Toys R Us

Ottawa Senators Super Hero Cape:
He's entering the phase where he is starting to love superheroes. Batman is currently his favourite, and also references Spiderman a lot, so we are easing into this addiction with a silk Ottawa Senators Cape. He can pretend to be a superhero, all while supporting our team of choice ;) Only $19.99 at Toys  R Us

As you can see, a wide variety of interest spewing out of our house this year.
Honorable mentions: Playdough. Anything Playdough related.
Kids lego
Thomas engines
Books
Bath toys
Animal figurines

What are your kids asking for this year?

Happy shopping! (Mine's done :))
