Life lately
I think you all pretty much know what my life has been lately , lol
-We have transitioned well into a life with two kiddos; into a family of four. Keira slept a 6.5 hour stretch last night, and I got a 5 hour stretch. That's the most consecutive sleep I have had since she was born. Now I want MORE. she just finished her feed , and now in pumping. Only 25 more minutes and I can return to sleep land until Garett wakes around 7:15. (1 hr 45 mins worth, if I can fall asleep easily )
-how is it that We need to clean out the fridge everyday now? Between leftovers and putting things aside and things going bad, I feel like we live in a constant state of chaos control of our fridge. I guess I'm just not used to this visiting the grocery store so often thing. I'm used to the fridge being sparse looking around this time of the week, and it's at a perpetual state of FULL to the brim currently
- we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary the other day, and Tyler and H man went to pick up a feast. It was crabfest at red lobster , so Tyler picked up some cheddar buns, crab fritters (these come with fries), a crab linguine with some Alaskan crab legs, Caesar salads , a crab cake and steak dinner for me that came with garlic mashed and rice, and some strawberry cheesecake
We ate until we wanted to vomit, and we still had leftovers for later lol. Garett ate all of the crab fritters. We told him they were "meat" and he inhaled them. We told him it was crab after and he was so proud. I thought maybe he would take up issue with it because he likes to visit the lobsters in the grocery store and chat with them , lol. Boy was I wrong!
- I only have a few episodes left of the show "Parenthood". I have watched all 6 seasons in like 1.5 weeks. I feel like I am part of their family, and I will miss them when it's over. Am i the only one that feels this way when a series ends ?
-we went to the outdoor farmers market on Sunday to grab our produce and some maple fridge , jellies and such and our favourite jelly lady wasn't there! I could have cried lol. I have a container of laughing cow and wheat thins crying to be eaten with her amazing jellies. BOOOO
-I feel like doctors appointments are taking over our lives in the coming few weeks. Keira needs to have a 4 week checkup with her family doc, I have my 6 week with the OBGYN, Garett has his eye checkup this week also , and it feels like it will never end now , lol
- I have made my new list of things I need to buy stuff for. Like the baptism, my birthday, Halloween, thanksgiving and whatnot. I like having lists, so I can cross things off and feel accomplished haha
- I cannot wait for sister girls vaccinations so we can start having people over , or routining more places. I'm seriously lacking in adult conversations, which is going to make me socially awkward soon haha.
- Garett has been such a good big brother so far. He is so attentive and careful and helpful with the baby. I don't think he realizes that soon enough she will be touching all of his things :) hahah
-we are going to make a riddance of toys and clothes that were G's. Tylers cousin runs a "free store" for their church where people go and take what they need, when they are in need. I prefer to support something like this, that directly benefits the nearby community, than to donate to a place that's going to sell it and only use a portion of the profits for good.
-Keira threw up on me on our way downstairs yesterday, so we took a brief pause in her bedroom to get her cleaned up and to wipe my chest off. She went into her crib for the first time. How little does she look in their ?! Lol so cute
- I'm back to my itchy feet for a new car. I tried to go out the other day and my car was dead. I needed a new battery. So $180 later and it was fine. But other things need to be fixed now too and I'm just feeling like I would rather just ditch it and get a new car. But no car payments for me is so nice. We are thinking maybe sell it , and I'll drive tylers new F-250 (he likes his 150 better for himself lol) for the winter and then buy a new car in the spring. This way both trucks are being used. But I don't know if I'm comfortable with driving that huge truck around primarily lol. I just don't know. And when I do look at vehicles, I am ALL over the map. Ugh. I don't know what I want. I blame the hormones
-I can't think of anything else for now! Hope you all enjoy the last day of the long weekend !:)
