What I'm loving Wednesday

Here is what I'm loving this Wednesday:

-the cooler temps in the mornings. It makes me want to buy a cool new fall wardrobe, sip hot chocolates, cuddle up with a blanket and a book, so on and so forth. All of the typical fall activities. I can't say I will even miss this summer. Having been 41 weeks pregnant in the depths of hell , I welcome fall, and dare I even say *winter*. I look forward to thanksgiving and Christmas! Lol

-Keira and I went for a doctors appointment yesterday , and it was our first time out alone together. It went smoothly , except she spit up on my blouse , so I had to wear just my tank top for the rest of the excursion lol. She is 9lb 8oz now and 21 inches long :) growing on par with average and is very strong !
She can lift and hold herself up on her elbows and hold her head up when places on her tummy, and the other day, in her sleep, she ROLLED over from back to belly ?! What the what?

- not loving how fast this last month went by, but do love the new independence we get once she has her vaccinations done on October 11

-looking at a new car as a gift to myself for my birthday--also because Ford employee pricing ends sept 30. I feel like I'm really dwelling on this/stuck for what I want. I'm so back and forth "is this too big, will I get used to this, should I get this or that, this colour or another, cloth or leather? Upgrade to AWD like I have now?"  It's a lot of questions and it makes it hard with two little ones to get there and test drive things. But it'll get done. Either way, I need to get out for an etest and to renew my license

-the amount of milk in excess I have this time around. The entire door of my huge stand up deep freezer is FULL and I've started filling the main body of the freezer now. There's probably 2-3 weeks of extra milk in there at this point, and she's only 4 weeks old today #happy. I'm going trough milk storage bags like crazy though. I order 120 at a time and I've already done two orders !

- I don't know if I have ever said how much I LOVE being so close to a grocery store. Also, I love the feel inside Metro , so I actually favour this store above the other farther away ones anyways. I live at the grocery store now when I want a moment to myself , I head out there. You know you're old, when....

-water. I am a water monster right now with the nursing. I've never been so hydrated in my life lol

-all my clothes fit again. But I'm going to go through and make a riddance , as well as go through Garett's toys (which is admittedly totally out of control), and donate it to the "free shop" associated with tylers cousins church. There is another outgrow outplay sale happening in a few weekends, but I just don't think I have the time to register and label everything and get down there to do the drop off/quality control/put things out on the floor and then go back and pick up unsold items.  I'd rather it just go to a good cause and not think twice.

-I finished Parenthood off. While I do not love that it's over, I love how the show made me feel. I was constantly stressed out watching it, but it was such an accurate depiction of a real family, and it didn't sugar coat anything. Then I speed watched season 2 of Schitts creek, caught up on kardashians, teen mom and pretty little liars, and am now in search of my new conquest.  I got through part one and two of the bbc pride and prejudice (my fav), but only have 4 parts left which o can finish tomorrow. Help! (I don't like crime or overly political shows. More drama/comedy)

- how amazingly well Garett transitioned into his new roles. I was so worried about him. With the new baby, a weird schedule /attention shift and with his two besties going off to kindergarten and him being the now oldest at daycare. I was losing so much sleep over this. But he is amazing. How did I get so lucky? He is everything good in the world.

-did I mention Tyler bought a motorcycle ? I can't remember. But the change in gas mileage for him jumping around to estimates and signing contracts is significant. It costs us about $160 to fill the f150 with gas. It's $15 to fill the motorcycle lol. Plus he is VERY willing to run out to the store for things I need anytime now. I hope the novelty never wears off haha. Now we are looking at new houses, an old mustang for ty and a trailer. But first , car for me, and then new house.

-I think that's it for now. What are you loving this fine Wednesday?

  1. When I was in your situation, I would let all those new features overwhelm me to the point of analysis paralysis. What I wound up doing was test drive three cars I really wanted, and the choice was crystal clear that I go with the Ford Focus. Give them a drive and you will discover instantly which you feel better driving.
