i will eventually get on top of this blogging thing again. Until then, random point form posts! Lol -Garett's party went well! I will do a post on it later I think -Keira is doing well on purees. So far she has had oatmeal pablum, sweet potato and pears. Going to start peas tonight. -I have been binge watching Suits. I'm halfway through season 5, and am deeply obsessed. An intellectual show based in a law firm with well built characters and chemistry. Love it. -we had a double date night on Saturday with some new friends. Tyler has known the husband for a while, but other than in bigger groups, I have never had a chance to really talk to his wife. We really hit it off. Looking forward to seeing them more. -Tyler and I went to Big Easy's bourbon house/speakeasy, which is also a seafood and grill (obviously with a creole twist) for a drink before dinner. Tuesday marks the day when Tyler can lift the kids again. We are both ready for this day to arrive , because cooking three meals a day, taking care of the kids, cleaning, bedtime stuff, daycare drop off and pick up with Keira in tow : none of it is what I call "fun". I love my kids, but dang being a single mom would be HARD. I don't know how people with multiple kids and no S.O do it. Anyways, the show must go on. And so must the party this weekend. I'm hoping my MIL can come over tomorrow afternoon to watch Keira and Tyler for a few hours while I run around like a psych and then get Garett. The cake is being delivered tomorrow morning, so I have been working hard to make meals out of what is in the fridge and cupboards so I have room. The temp is too cold outside to keep it in the back of my SUV, without it freezing, so I have to keep the fridge pretty empty and move some shelves around. too much has happened since I last wrote a post, I can't even remember it all. So instead of a recap, here is a point form of things I can remember! - Christmas happened. I found it incredibly stressful but fun. I'm a worry wart, so down to the final detail , I stress. Once it's all over , I can relax and say that it was fun! Lol - then there was New Years. We had plans to go to a friends place, but with the kids, and the time the party started, we passed and decided to host a little shindig here. So I made a bacon cheddar dip, ham ball, a pot of chilli, had garlic bread and all that stuff, and sausage rolls. I stayed up late, but wasn't too bad the following day, we just took turns taking a nap. - we went to look at model homes, and I think we found the builder we like best. But after looking at the market again, we are conflicted. Time will tell. If we go the building route, it takes a year to get into the house , so we will see. - i took Garett to the movies ...
