10 More Days!

We have only 9 sleeps left until we drop the kids off to Shannon and Casey, and leave at 4:00AM to head to the airport on the 24th, and I haven't put a single article into anyones luggage yet. My lists make me feel prepared, but packing is a huge process to me, and this is the latest I have ever started! I'm starting to panic slightly lol.

Ottawa was just dumped with 30cm of extra snow, and apparently are calling for more tomorrow. Yesterday, I stayed home and worked from home, but because so many others were doing that too, the server kept crashing. So productivity was down in the AM, but by the afternoon, the issues were resolved. Tyler plowed the driveway and then took Garett up the road to plow our neighbour/friends driveway. They stayed for lunch and played a bit, and then I grabbed a shower, Keira woke from her nap, I finished up some work and threw some meat in the oven to cook. We unexpectedly had our neighbours over for dinner, the kids played and they headed home around 7:45PM.

The boys were supposed to go to the hockey game on Tuesday night (Ty had received some 100-level tickets from our insurance agent for his birthday), but with the weather being so bad, they decided not to go, and went to grab some pizza/wings/mozzarella sticks and some coke in glass bottles, and hung out in the garage watching the game on the big screen, and worked on Ty's motorcycle. Our agent has contacted us and is giving us more tickets to replace those! lol Yay for being VIP's since we have so many lines of service with them.

Tonight is Beavers. Since Garett missed last week, so I think tonight he is getting his first aid badge:)

Garett brought his Valentine's to school today (he wrote in about half of them, but got tired, so I did the rest). He woke up in a panic that he didn't finish them lol--he is definitely my son! They also were told to wear red today, so I laid his clothes out last night and he will be in the valentine's spirit today :) Tomorrow is a PD day for his school, so he will have fun at his PD day programming.

Nothing planned for the weekend yet. I want to see how much packing I can get done, and maybe do some visiting with family, but if the weather is garbage, it will be a quiet weekend.

Happy Thursday everyone! I thought it was Friday this morning, but Thursday is the next best thing I suppose :)
