Weekend Rewind
It was a busy but uneventful weekend. We went to St. Louis for dinner on Wednesday night for Tyler's cousins birthday with a few friends. My dinner never came until the end in a doggy bag. So I chowed down once we got home lol.
Thursday was my work from home day, and I stayed home to work on Friday also with the awful weather. Tyler brought the kids into town for school/daycare so we could actually get some work done.
I made a huge casserole full of cabbage rolls and delivered it to our neighbours, and the kids and husbands had a dinner play date, while Jami and I went to see Birds of Prey with another friend. We went to Moxies first for a drink and dinner. I dropped everyone off at home afterwards, and was home by 10:15pm.
Saturday morning, Keira had an appointment at Cookie Cutters in Orleans. We got there a bit early so she could play, and she brought life to this place. Lots of kids crying, but she was just VERY excited to be there. After her hair cut and style, she picked out a new shade of Piggy Polish, we grabbed some McDonald's for everyone as a treat and headed home.
We played outside a lot right before her nap, and lounged for the rest of the day.
After the kids were in bed, we had a few neighbours over to watch John Wick in the garage, and have a few drinks. We visited for a while, ordered pizza and wings and were in bed by 1AM.
Sunday we went for a walk around the neighbourhood with the kids to visit the new neighbours (who we already knew, but just moved in Saturday), and did some stuff around the house. After Keira's nap, Tyler took the kids into town to visit his mom. I opted to stay behind and got caught up on cleaning the kitchen, the laundry, tidying the kids rooms, changing beds, laying out the kids clothes for today, etc. Plus, I got to watch some uninterrupted Schitt's Creek. had a shower and enjoyed my quiet!
Hope you all had a great weekend :)
