1. Are you a party person? Or do you prefer an intimate gathering with just a few friends?
2. Would you rather be a guest at a party or the hostess with the mostess?

1. Are you a party person? Or do you prefer an intimate gathering with just a few friends?
I much prefer intimate gatherings. It gives you more of a chance to have some one on one time with each guest and it doesn't get as loud, messy and often they don't go as late into the evening. I'm a homebody that likes to go to bed early. Sue me!!! haha


2. Would you rather be a guest at a party or the hostess with the mostess?
I like having people over more. Like I said--I'm a homebody. I like baking for people to come over and making the house all up with candles and such. The only part I dont like is when and if my stuff gets broken :( My poor chair. If it's a big party, I would rather go to someone elses' house for sure.

3. What is your favorite party food or drink? (I'd love to see the recipe)
Favourite Party Food: Anything stuffed--stuffed mushrooms, stuffed pastries, etc. The more homemade the tastier they are :)
Favourite drink: Chardonnay or Sparkling Wine. Not as harsh as any hard liquor and not as gassy as beer.

4. What is the best party you've ever been to?
We had a trailer trash/Jerry Springer themed party when I was in University. It was hilarious to see the costumes people arrived in. Just hilarious. We had a "Tattoo station" where one of my good-drawing friends coloured tattoos on you of whatever you wanted in water soluble marker LOL So much fun :)


5. What is your favorite party game? Depends on the kind of party. Tamer/quiet ones--Scattergories or Blurt. Bigger parties : Partini, Cranium, card games

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
