Lists...

Things here have been pretty mundane. Same old :) which is perfect! 

Since I don't have much to write about, I have noticed my blog feed blowing up with everyone making this blog of lists, so I will follow suit:)

5 things I'll be doing over the next week:

1. Picking Ty up this afternoon, running some errands while the truck is in the garage getting one last thing done.

2. Going to Richmond Fair as a family tomorrow night--Ty is playing a 45 min set and then we will walk around :) 

3. Saturday is our date day--stay tuned for that post

4. A visit from my parents at some point

5. Making another month of baby food on Sunday 

Four items I need to purchase:

1. Groceries for Garett's next month of food

2. Tickets for our date day

3. Another baby gate so we have more extension pieces (darn extra side doorway!!)

4. More fall clothes--more specifically, all different colours of leggings. Lol

Three shows I can't wait to have come back into my life:

1. Snooki and Jwoww 

2. Grey's Anatomy

3. Sons of Anarchy (starting season 5 as catch up,after we finish catching up on Breaking Bad)

Two reasons I'm excited for fall:

1) fall clothing options --I love fall clothes!

2) the scents of candle in the house, comfort foods, carving pumpkins, Garett's first Halloween. (Couldn't pick 2 lol)

One thing that is currently bothering me:

The idea of going back to work in the winter lol--and all the stuff that comes with back to work--who to trust Garett with, if I will drive or take a bus, when we decide to move having to find a new babysitter, etc!... Just lots to think about, so I guess it doesn't bother me so much as overwhelms me.

Anyways! I am off to cuddle my napping little man some more -- happy Wednesday :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). I'm stubborn and loyal and do not have a mean streak. That I am the same person at home as I am in social settings...blah blah blah. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
