You know what?

I don't even feel sorry for how far between (and how rarely) I write anymore. Blogging is something I do for fun--when I have downtime. As of late, I haven't had any--we have been too busy having fun outside! Life is so good right now, I just want to breathe it in and let it take over.
You see, I have this little boy who LOVES to be outside. It's his favourite thing. Not only does he love outside, he loves the water, so we have to take advantage of every ounce of warm/sunlight we get!
Since I have been away too long, I won't even bother going back into what I have missed writing about. Girls weekend in Tremblant won't even get it's own post, mostly because that was spent voiceless, enjoying the sun and a few adult refreshments--I took barely any pictures, so I will just leave it at that :)
This past weekend started off on a bit of a sour note--Friday we came home, Rod and Sharon came over for dinner, and we discovered "ew the carpet is soaked" near the tv in our rec room--water was dripping down the wall. Luckily, tyler cut open a little square in the ceiling and discovered the water was only coming in on top of the wall (not in the back where the insulation is, or bad enough to have to re-drywall), but that the water access pipe leading out the back of the houses was corroded and leaking--so he shut off the water, did some welding trickery, and we got a new pipe from Rona the next morning...crisis averted. Thank God for my handy man :) Also thank god for home ownership--because had it been our nightmare of an old landlord, who knows what would have happened to all of our stuff, because we certainly wouldnt have been allowed to hack open the ceiling! lol
After that, things brightened up (both in and outside! lol). Saturday we got up early and headed to Cornwall for the day. We jammed some family time in (father's day, birthdays, etc--we missed a few things) and headed home around 4:30 I think it was. It was a nice drive home--and our little G-man slept all the way, and for another 30 or so minutes once I put him in the crib when we got home. I made some dinner, we cleaned the house up a bit, and we hung out outside for a bit of the evening before coming inside to bed!
Sunday we slept in a bit (until about 8:30), Tyler "swept" the lawn, we went out for Breakfast in Embrun, then headed to the store to pick up our new swivel umbrella with built in lights--adds a nice touch to the patio! After we put that together, while G napped, we cleaned up the rest of the patio and set up the furniture, cleaned the garage a bit, and chased down the Dicky-dee (sp?) boy riding around and enjoyed some ice cream treats on our freshly cleaned patio :)
When G woke up, we sunlotioned him up, pulled on his swimmer diapers and swim trunks and swim shoes for an afternoon of splashing and running around. He pretty well spent a huge chunk of the afternoon in that little inflatable pool (which will do until a bigger better one is ordered and arrives :)). He also LOVES the hammock. Everytime one of us would plop down in it, G ran over and came up too. Such a silly monkey.
After that, we went inside, had a quick lunch of toasted tomato sandwiches and ran around in the house a bit. G didn't have an afternoon nap, so we read stories and sang songs before Dinner and bath time, and then was straight to bed for him around 8. I followed suit not long after--around 9:15--and was still hard to get up when my alarm went off at 6!
This week, I have a bbq on thursday at my Directors house, so it's pretty well like a 4 day week :) Tyler has a quick game of paintball on Saturday, and then I think that's all we have planned--should be a good weekend to sort through some stuff and start getting rid of stuff we don't use/packing up stuff to get it out of the way--our house is too cluttered to sell right now. We are really hoping to enjoy this summer in our home, and find another one after that that is more suitable in size for us and all the STUFF we have.
Here are some of our considerations we want to visit open houses for, that we couldn't find time for this past weekend:

Obviously, I have lots of things in mind, but we are clearly ready for a 2 story--enough of this bunglaow stuff. I'm pretty open, but just feel overwhelmed with all the things I want done around our house too before we list--I am so torn. I love my little house, but I want to go bigger--I know anywhere we go will eventually feel like home too--I just want to be comfortable with it, and be somewhere I'm not terrified to be alone in :) lol
Some exciting things coming up:
July 23-29 I am off :) July 24: Bruno Mars concert (Pharell opening)
August 2: Cousins night (ugh, still have to mail invites lol)
August 29-31 flying to windsor to see Toto and Michael McDonald for our anniversary at Caesar's
Plus alot of fun things in between--baby showers, birthdays, shopping trips etc :)
I think I have put work off for long enough :) So off I go!!
Have a wonderful day (week, month, year--who knows how long it will be before I get a chance to blog next at this rate LOL).
