Tuesday thoughts
- I love the warm weather. I don't love the storms that 40 degrees brings. I would be happy with a constant 28 degree summer, because I do not like when the tornado warnings happen!
-we took my SUV to Orillia on the weekend, and I just got the 5,000km mark on my odometer. I've had the Edge since Sept 24--coming up on a year. I think I'm pretty easy on my vehicles haha. Add that to the list of things I don't miss about living out of town.
- Keira must be in a growth spurt. Particularly yesterday. She had two of those baby food pouches of fruit and veggie mixes, then half of one that had chicken and noodles also, then she had some yogurt drops, an entire banana, ate half of a cob of corn (right off the cob! Lol ), a big piece of ham, cubed up, some rice, a piece of toast with butter, a cup of water and her bottles before nap and bed. She ate more than I did ! Lol she also napped much better than she had been. So maybe that step up in food intake is helping.
- Gas was 101.2 in Orillia. Why is it more here?
- Keiras birthday gift arrived yesterday.
- I ordered Garett's new summer hats
- we hung Garett's new dream catcher. Let's see if his fake bad dreams stop. Sometimes if he doesn't want to go right to sleep , he comes out 5 seconds after we said goodnight and says "but I had a bad dream!" You haven't even been asleep yet, silly!!
-I had to take Garett to daycare this morning. I don't mind loading them both up in the car for that; because then Keira and I get our grocery or Walmart run in early in the day , and don't have to worry about fighting for a cash!
-Garett is excited to start swimming lessons soon. We got his pencil cases and everything for school all organized, and next we will put together his swimming bag--towel, swim trunks, a case for his glasses, plastic bag.
-Keira is officially in all 9-12 month clothes. Her footed sleepers are going to be switched to 12-18 month soon, but the rest of the clothes are always a few months to follow that switch
-we finally got the tv stand set up in the family room, so we don't look so ghetto fabulous using an end table haha
-not much else is new here!
