Wow--What a long and crazy weekend! With no end in sight!!
Friday I was off work--I had a doctors appointment in the morning (all went well but he is still sending me for a Colposcopy and possible Biopsy but he is certain there is nothing even remotely cancerous about it this is just a precautionary measure to see what it is and keep an eye on it). So he said in the next 2 months the hospital should be calling me for a consultation and then we'll book the appointment from there. The afternoon, I took off as vacation. I met up with Ty and we had some lunch and we went home to relax a bit! I started getting ready and headed out to dinner at Boston Pizza with the girls for Ashlee and Shan's birthday! I have never blown through 55 WW points so quickly! Just from a pasta dish and a dessert :( Oh well! Good thing I saved all my extras for the week and was good that day! I went home after and Ty was already in bed (got home around 10:30 or so after dropping Shan off at home on my way back). So I just crawled in beside him and we watched a bit of a movie and fell asleep :)
Saturday I woke up and cleaned the house a bit. I had a nail appointment at noon (Thank God!) and they turned out pretty awesome! I got black tips this time and my ring fingers are both all black with a white design (was supposed to be zebra but the girl was too shaky that day lol). After that, I headed into town and stopped at Shan's house to drop of Ty's amp or whatever it was and visited for a bit. Ty called to tell me he was already home from his paintball tournament (around 2 instead of 6 that night) so I took off and went and did a little shopping at Reitmans in trainyards--picked up a few tops, nothing serious--there are so many good sales on right now :) I headed home and started getting ready for our friend Rod's 50th birthday at the Knights of Columbus hall in Vanier. What a great time! We got there around 6:30 (picked up Subway on the way) and they started playing shortly after 8.Around 1 we all headed back to Rod's and they jammed and sang until about 4:30 when Ty and I decided to hit the hay--we slept on the big couch. We woke up around 10:30 the next day and by around 11:30 we had decided where to go for Breakfast! We all headed to Biggs at St. Laurent and waited for what felt like forever for someone to seat us. I ended up not being very hungry--the omlette I ordered was a 4 egg omlette. I had about two bites and 10 homefries and drank all my drinks--Tyler finished off his 2 eggs benedict and fruit and homefries and ate the rest of my whole omlette as well lol. Once we were done there we headed home for a day of relaxation :) I had a nice hot bubble bath and lounged around ALL day. Yes, you got that right! No dishes, no laundry, no sweeping, no vaccuuming (all of which I should have done) but I did nothing for once :)
This week is going to be very tame I think! No shopping or anything! But this weekend will be a fun one :) Saturday at 4 we are getting together and going wedding dress shopping for Shan :) And on Sunday we have an appointment with our wedding photographer (me and Ty ) and we are finally sitting down and picking our pictures and planning out the albums! I am so excited to see what they look like! All I know is Dan (the photographer) was very impressed with out photograph-ability hahah (I made that work up) and kept showing us the pictures on his camera because he just couldnt wait lol. Once we go sit down with him he's allowed to put us up in the front window if he likes and can finally post them on his website and facebook for the world to see :) hehe
I am going to try to get an appointment while we are in Cornwall for my winter tires as well. They're calling for freezing rain tonight and I am not too thrilled with the possibility of driving in that with my crappy all-seasons!!
