It's beginning to look a lot like ..l

Christma-co! Lol

Point form since I can form a full thought today: 

My house is such a mash up right now of wrapped and not yet wrapped Christmas gifts, beachwear and luggage! 

My to do list before we leave us somehow not getting any smaller--probably because I always seem to put off the most time consuming tasks.

I have like 12 loads of laundry to do and put away before we go (did 3 this morning so I feel good about that lol).

I'm all packed and I just have last minute stuff to pack for Garett now --Tyler hasn't started, so I may take the bull by the horns and pack him since im more concerned about it at this point lol. 

I am NOT looking forward to leaving Garett now that Ty has been in my ear saying he will forget us--even Though I know it's not true, I feel bad and don't want him to think we abandoned him since we will be gone when he wakes up on Saturday :'(

Tomorrow my parents are coming for a sleep over--why is that ore exciting than my trip right now? Lol

We are going to have a big dinner! I am making delicious melt in your mouth roast beef with a dark gravy, loaded mashed potatoes and some sautéed green beans and mushrooms. I bought a carrot cake for dessert.

We have too much food in the fridge for being gone for a week. Going to make a riddance today!

I secretly love winter when I don't have to get up and brush the car off to go to work

Getting up early tomorrow and checking in to pick our seats on our flights with my mother in law on the phone with me lol 

My luggage is borderline on the 50lb limit. It's about 48.5 on my scales...could be right on 50 at the airport..yikes!

I'm glad Ty packs really light so we load his suitcase up without collectibles and I don't have to talk to customs about purchases lolol (we know how well that worked out last time lol--I don't think anyone has ever been waived through to secondary so fast-oops! Lol)

I have a feeling we may be napping as soon as we get to Mexico...lame! Lol I will TRY to sleep on the plane (bahhhhaha)

I am almost done Christmas shopping--ahead of where I thought I would be at this moment :)

I'm putting off doing dishes because I'm so loud and Garett just finally fell asleep for his nap in his crib!

Tyler is opening our December date day envelope tonight--it's a family date since there's not a lot of time in December left for that stuff and we will miss Garett and never want to leave him again, Until next year lol


I don't know how else to end this.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
