January Date Night
Perfect Sunday --Garett is down for his morning nap, I have a hot chocolate, a made for TV movie and a comfy blanket!!
Our January date was supposed to be the Jim Belushi show, but he post poned until April, so instead we opted for an easy date.
There's a lot of movies out right now we want to see, but most I'm fine with just buying on Apple TV when they come out. However, war movies are a MUST at the theatre, so Tyler's sister spent some time at our place with the little man while we headed out to see Lone Survivor.
What a powerful movie. It's tough to watch because it's so raw and they didn't hold anything back. But any great movie should make you "feel " things. It's a must see!
We headed into Orleans for dinner at Delicious Steakhouse for some appetizers, steak and a glass of wine. To make dinner more interesting, we agreed to share a big long booth with another couple (since it was so busy and we didn't want to wait lol). They were in their mid 40's, on their first date. They didn't speak with us but we had fun laughing at how horribly their date was going. You never realize how lucky you are to have found a normal person to spend you life with until you overhear the most awkward date ever lol.
We headed home after, said bye to Dolly and watched the hockey game on the PVR with the assistance of fast forward, put Garett to bed and I followed shortly after!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Early to bed for me tonight--into work for 7 tomorrow :)
