Life update : photo dump 2

While work has been keeping tyler very busy, I am busy also trying to get a grasp on things as I enter the next phase of worry in life. School registration is done, party planning for Keira is almost done, started school shopping for Garett and submitted all my paperwork for my Care and nurturing leave. Aside from that, we are just tryouts by to spend our time together with the kids, making memories!

On beautiful days we like to play outside. Keira is a water baby ( she's actually an everything baby, but she loves water most lol), so they spend lots of time splashing in pools of all sorts. PS can I say how blessed we are to have a little guy that genuinely loves his little sister so darn much! So adorable. Sure , they have their moments when he doesn't want to share, but for the most part he is amazing with her!

I also had the chance to sneak out with Garett on another mommy/son date day. I love these days, and I can't wait for Keira  to have some distinct interests, so we can do them too!! Garett and I started our day by going to Johnny Canucks for breakfast. Then we hit up Pet Smart and Walmart for a ton of goodies!we bought Whiskas wet and dry food

Pine shavings 
Timothy hay for bunnies 
A bunch of nerf squeaky toys for dogs
Cat toys
A few packs of cat nip 
Pee pads
Soft bedding for small animals
A few pet beds
Toothbrushes
Can openers
Scissors 
Soft chew dog treats 
Two tubs of temptations cat treats
Roller massagers 
Bounce sheets

after those errands, we headed out to the Humane Society and spent one on one time with every single animal there, and gave our goodies to them. They were very appreciative , and we have made plans to go back once a month! I am so proud of my boy for learning this lesson, and being so excited to spend his time with animals he knows we can't take home.

Afterwards, we grabbed lunch, headed home and spent the evening playing in the yard!
The following day was another fun day. We met up with some friends for the fair, and ran into my mother and sister in laws! Lol also we ran into a little boy Garett used to go to daycare with, so many rides were had!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
