Life update : photo dump 3

Life isn't always on the go. Sometimes we are just too busy at home to keep up with the blog. We have been getting an abundance of rainy days to stay inside and cozy up to watch a movie or play!


This little girl likes to play in every room of the house, it's a full time job just to get her playtime in in each room, lol

Sometimes on rainy days we also get our "errands" done online. That particular day Garett's new backpack, lunch kit, pencil cases and swimming lessons drawstring bag arrived. We also thought his new stackable cutlery was pretty neat. His thermos, containers and slim cooler packs didn't make a picture though. Lol
Sometimes we brave the cooler temps because we have to go get groceries. 
Sometimes we get creative with balloons. 

Sometimes we use our bath markers to draw cool pictures 
Sometimes daddy goes away to a fishing derby for three nights and grandma comes to stay and we spend the day at the toy store, dollar store and go out to get bubblegum flavored ice cream!!
Sometimes we do science experiments and also make dinosaur sponges out of capsules 
Sometimes we play in the yard , and if it's nice out , Keira will watch from the sidelines 

Sometimes mommy forgets that Garett is 4, and not to trust him around stamps lol

Sometimes I get a pretty cute kitchen helper to assist in Making French toast!
Sometimes we sit quietly and watch cartoons. 
Sometimes we are pooped out, so we nap. 
Sometimes we go get a tour of the school, and the very nice principal gives a cool bag full of goodies to a very excited little boy. 

Sometimes we watch the rain and make funny noises 

But everyday is fun!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
