Photo dump life update

We have been so busy , I am really getting awful at this blogging thing. So here is a photo dump of a few days and I'll do a few of them perhaps :)

We have been getting so much rain! May has broken records for rainfall in Ottawa. So Garett and I went on quiet a few rainy day walks, inspecting worms and big puddles alike. 


On the nicer days, we spent a lot of time at the park. Sand toys, swings, slides, running around the paths, teeter totters, climbers. You name it. Garett loves park days !

On days off, the boys also spend lots of time at daddy's Star Wars store. Aka the Kessel Run. This particular day the 501st capital city garrison were present and G got some time with his favourite characters 

Most weekdays it's just Keira and I at home and Garett goes to daycare. He came home with some stuff for Mother's Day. So sweet. 
I also got a night out, a nap, flowers, a yummy dinner and money which I used for baby gates because I'm a rebel mom lol

Daddy took Garett to Comiccon on Mother's Day also so I could nap while the baby napped. Thank you, Keira for the three hour nap.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
