What I'm loving Wednesday

-That I left work a few minutes early last night to grab lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese for tacos- I had made the taco meat the night before, so all I had to do was toss in a pan and reheat and boom dinner was ready!


-Casey and Shan and Rylie popped by for a bit, and Casey helped Ty bring up/deliver the futon and big table in the basement to where they needed to go. So now the basement is that much emptier :)


-Val came over around 6:45, to watch the kids/put them to bed because the Lawyer had a cancellation and could take us last night instead of tonight. We got everything signed off and were home by 7:30 (which is when our appointment was originally scheduled to start!). We visited a bit with Val and then went up and got to tuck Garett in.


-We caught up on a few more episodes of House before we hit the hay also.


- This morning we all slept in, and Tyler ended up taking both kids, so I made it here by 7:30!


-I didn't win on any of my poker lottery tickets last night (I have been continually reinvesting $10 that I keep winning), but I do have a 649 and some daily grand tickets also. So who knows. I would take even a free play! I just hate losing completely lol I am obsessed with the OLG app that lets me scan my own tickets haha Hence the sudden interest in playing lottery and scratch tickets lol.


- That this is a three day work week for me! Love it!


-I will have to go buy a little sewing kit from the dollar store tonight. I tossed all of it when I was packing, and Garett has three badges to put onto his vest. I have NO idea where they go or what the instructions are for thread colours, etc, but I am probably Garett's best bet, since Ty doesn't know about this stuff anymore than I do haha


- Wednesdays are Chinese food days in the cafeteria downstairs!


- Garett had lunch lady yesterday, and pizza day tomorrow. I love the two days a week off from packing a big lunch!


- Tomorrow evening, I am going to start loading my car full of stuff to bring over on Friday,. The lawyer said we should have our keys by 2:00 Friday :)


- I am in DEEP and super obsessed with Big Brother 20. I want to just stay home all day until I have watched it ALL lol

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
