I hate coming back to work after random days off--it's SO Much more work to catch up on. I even change my out of office messages to reflect who to contact when I'm not here--but do people listen? nope! They just leave it in my inbox unactioned so that it is overdue even by the time I come in--great! Not stressful at all.
Anyways...Monday night, I got home and had a bunch of energy. I had this Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake I have been wanting to try, so I whipped it up and then just made some kraft dinner and hot dogs since we weren't super hungry yet. We ate at the table (we do this every so often lol) and then cut a piece of the cake, drizzled the icing on top and went down to watch some tv--Ty had a new Cosmo, a beautiful card and a little stuffed animal waiting for me so I opened the card (cried of course with the nice things he wrote in it) and we carried on eating cake and watching tv lol.
Yesterday, I wanted to sleep in but Ty had to get up early for work so I woke up to his alarm and lounged around for a while watching Food network and reading my magazine. I eventually got up and started cleaning the house. Ty called and asked me what I wanted for lunch--I just happened to be wanting A&W at the moment lol so he brought me that home for lunch (that was a mistake--made me SO sick)..and he brought me home a gorgeous floral arrangement to surprise me with. His expansion pack for his video game came out yesterday and he's been working so hard lately, I told him to go ahead and play for a bit since I had to finish up cleaning anyways (which I only did some of since he said today he would be home most of the day and would do it for me:)). I had grilled cheese for dinner (Fancy, eh? lol) and went to bed super early! I jumped up around 9:30 starvin' marvin' but ended up getting sick instead (weird because I didnt even feel sick--told Ty it was the baby's way of saying happy birthday LOL)..thn ate a piece of toast and went back to bed and had an amazing sleep! lol Ty told me before bed my other gift was coming because he thought I was upset I didn't get enough for my birthday LOL..I was in a bad mood all day from cleaning so he probably thought I was mad at him haha oh well! I have so many hormones raging through my body, he unfortunately has to deal with it :) lol
Today on my way out to work, I was so happy to see it was 13 degrees! Way better than the 2 degrees and car scraping the other day!! Then I left 10 minutes early to fill up for gas--and got it for $1.20!! That never happens! lol everytime I go to get gas, it's jumped up to $1.26 or more! lol..lucky day!
I started a sentence here saying I hope the rest of the day goes quick--but I deleted it because it is now 1:02 (and I started this at like 9 am lol)..So the rest of the day should go smoothly! Have to stop at the grocery store on the way home and then meet Father Matthew and my parents at the restaurant in Embrun tonight with Ty before we get the house blessed :)
