It's 7:16 AM
It's 7:16 AM and I already want to go back to bed.
I woke up with a killer sore throat--it's getting better the longer I'm awake. I don't think I'm getting sick, but I do think it's from over-exhaustion causing me to potentially snore last night...I woke up suddenly around 4AM to nothing--must have woken myself up with snoring? haha Luckily Tyler sleeps like a dead person (a dead person that snores and sometimes grinds his teeth when he's stressed).
G went to bed super early again last night--I think the time change is finally working out in our favor. His coughing is sporadic and sounds like it's getting much better--he might only cough one or two times from when I get him in the evening to the next day. No need to follow up with the doctor now. Lord knows he's been there enough lately--she's seriously going to start charging us rent if we go back haha
I arrived home to a bunch of presents I ordered on my front step :) None of the "me" gifts though--all G's stocking stuffer things, a few of his last gifts, and some for my family. Know what else finally arrived? My WREATH haha..I never in a million years expected to be that excited over a round thing of fake pine tree... But it has joined the rest of our lovely outdoor décor now :)

Ty was supposed to be home around 5 last night, but had to turn around to go back to the store for a minute. He got home at 5:40 instead, which is fine--still earlier than normal :)
Him and G ate leftovers of the Chicken Florentine while I took a nice bath--then I got out and decided to make other food. I did up a beef/broccoli/green onion/mushroom pho kind of dish. Tyler freaked out when he tasted the vermicelli noodles I cooked in a beef bouillon broth..."HOMEMADE MR NOODLES" he declared. He was pretty excited. Him and G devoured a lot of them. Yes, even after their real supper...I am in big trouble when this kid is a teenager..he can already eat so much! Pretty excited to eat it for my lunch today--it is such comfort food :)
Tonight we are planning on relaxing. Tomorrow is a pretty big day (G will meet Santa for the second time, then we will hang out at daddy's store and watch the parade :)) Sunday will be a day of Christmas decorating, and possibly some baking!
It's not even the weekend yet , and it already feels like it's over! :( Next weekend we are having a night away though (G's first time sleeping at Ty's moms house) we are sticking close, going to a show downtown and whatnot, just in case..not sure how he will handle that first time, but we will see:) Worried and looking forward to it all at the same time!
I am going to be pretty well alone in the office today--one woman is sick, the other has a half day and is leaving at lunch because of her compressed work schedule and my boss is working from home...my inbox is out of control, so I am going to get that under control today and my actual physical inbox with real papers in it (yes, these still exist in 2014 lol) has probably 20 things to action in it, so I want to work through that today too so I don't have to worry about it over the weekend :)
Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!!
