48 hours
48 hours to finish everything on my list.
-finish packing (I was supposed to this weekend and then other things came up. ie/playing)
-start and finish packing G-man
-finish cleaning the house (just have to wash the bathrooms, sweep, vacuum and mop, and wash the low windows)
-finish laundry and putting it away. I changed all the beds yesterday, and now there's like 5 loads more of laundry to do. I'll do that tonight and tomorrow.
-send daycare the pay since we will be gone on her payday
-get my manicure and pedicure tomorrow in good time so I can get home a bit early to grab Garett so we can PLAY LIKE CRAZY and cuddle endlessly.
-grab my shower and finish packing the last minute things since G will be picked up in the morning, and we have to head into town to grab Casey and Shannon, hope the stupid taxi lockout is nowhere near us, get to the park and fly, grab the shuttle and head through security. I will immediately need a cerveza once we get past the gate. Much to our dismay, there were no direct flights going or coming home, so we transfer in Toronto. This causes me more anxiety, not because of more flights (I actually prefer breaking up the trip like that), but because I always worry about my luggage getting misplaced lol. I know we have travel insurance that covers this in case our bags are lost or very delayed, but it would still be a HUGE pain.
-stalking the weather network. it's calling for thunderstorms the entire time we are there. Though I have been to enough places in the Caribbean to know that this may happen everyday, but only for like 10 minutes each morning, then nice and sunny and warm the rest of the time. Still a bit depressing to see a forecast like that though lol. Hooray end of rainy season for them!
-Just want to reiterate that Garett will be hugged and kissed silly. I know it's only 5 nights, but I'm going to miss that boy something fierce!! As much as you would miss a limb, since that's what he is--a permanent fixture on my body usually. But I know he will have fun and is in very capable hands. We have been telling him he is having a 5 night sleep over, and is pretty excited. Everytime I mention it, he wants to put his coat and boots on immediately and leave. Um, excuse me pal??? lol
Hopefully doing this, will let him know we are coming back and he doesn't have issues at night after we get back :( poor boy. He was fairly offended last night when I told him mommy and daddy are going on a plane, but that he wasn't coming this time. He said " I just REALLY want to go on a plane, mommy!" I know buddy, and he will next time we go away :)
-This is my last day of work before we leave. And as we sit here, I realize I have a lot to do and I should have taken today off too, but I have a few things to close out before I leave (in good conscience lol).
-I will be MIA until Tuesday or Weds next week!
