Life Lately/500 posts
As per the usual, life has been wild/fun/stressful.
On the business front for Ty--lots of major developments. Howard Stern XM broadcast for the store/bar, business is doing well on that end, and they are looking forward to what the future holds. On the concrete front, he is breaking into the Neptune Panels this year (after having gone on the training near the end of the season in New Hampshire last year). He has been contacted by a major architecture company who did the Museum of Nature and such (Ty is the only qualified installer and supplier for these things in the region) . He is in talks with lots of architects and started working on his rebranding last night to be more of a "resort living" company, since he does these features and stamped concrete, firepits, etc now. Should be an exciting and huge season for him. Big things in 2016 :)
Yesterday I posted about my first trimester, and I'm happy to report that while when I do feel sick, it's incapacitating, that during the day mostly I feel great and am starting to have a little bit more energy one day at a time.
On the home front, we had our first open house on Sunday, and had a second showing for one of the couples on Saturday morning before Garett's party, and have another open house this Sunday and then a second showing on Monday evening. So keeping our fingers crossed, because we have our eye on one house that we really want. We went to see it three weeks ago almost, and haven't been able to shake it from our minds. We are very excited to see how this all turns out!
My work front: I have managed to get my inbox pretty well caught up on, and things have been less chaotic here and I'm more on top of things since my inboxes aren't unmanageable anymore, dealing with one thing that comes in at a time :) Until Summer when it gets crazy, that is lol. (but then I'll be getting ready to head out on Mat leave woot woot!)
Garett got his new glasses on Monday, and boy does he ever look sharp in them! He looks like such a big boy :) He gets so many comments on them now, and he loves them! He will be sad to see the glasses go when he grows out of them, and it will be weird to get used to him with no glasses again! lol.
Saturday we finally get to see my family again :) We haven't had a chance to see them since Christmas with other things going on, or bad weather. Glad we will get to spend some time with them finally.
The mild weather yesterday was so nice. It was a nice little tease of spring :) I would love an early spring this year--get on that, will you, Mother Nature? :)
I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning, and then coming into work. Daycare is closed tomorrow, so G will be spending the day at his Granny's , I believe. Hoping to get groceries done one of these days too ;) Another reason I can't wait to get into town--the stores I love to shop at are in town!
Tyler turns the big 3-3 on Sunday!
This is my 500th post!
Hope everyone has been doing well! Happy Hump Day to you all! :)
