It's Friday!
We are going into the weekend with a little less stress than we had this week, but things are really starting to pile up and it's getting to be too much! I can't wait to just move and for the next month to be over--and I hate wishing time away like that!!
Yesterday was the inspection on our new place. A few issues arose, but the owner has said he would have them all professionally fixed before closing and provide us with receipts to prove it. So we waived our conditions, and kept the deal as-is. It's officially ours as of March 31!
After the inspection, I was feeling overwhelmed, so decided we needed the day to unwind. Tyler is feeling all sorts of stress also, and I know he doesn't like to offload that onto me, being pregnant and trying to remain as calm as possible lol But we have really been dealt quite the hand in the last month and a half, so just trying to get through and make it work! Sunny days on the horizon, I know that much lol
We headed over to Broadways to eat our weight in garlic homefries and breakfast food. Headed over to the movie theatre and saw Deadpool (which, if you have children and are even considering letting them go; do NOT let them!!!). It provided a few laughs for us, and there were very few people in the theatre with us, so we got to relax. We went to the Imax experience showing, which meant the nicer reclining seats and bigger screen and whatnot. We hardly ever go to the movies. I have very sensitive ears and it's just too loud for me--action movies I will 9 times out of 10 choose to watch at home. I really only waste money to go see comedies at the theatre. How silly is that? lol
We picked Garett up from daycare early, tyler put his new springs on his truck so he can tow trailers with it, and spent the rest of the afternoon on the phone with CRA and our accountants.
We had to head into Orleans again that evening for a 6:30 interview with a new daycare provider. We left the house around 5:30, and I'm glad we did. The roads were like a skating rink and it was SO windy! We made it and I am so pleased we made the time to meet with her! I think Garett will be very happy, and learn a lot at her place!
We stopped, like idiots, for taco bell for dinner. I had one taco and felt sick for the entire rest of the evening. Yuck.
I passed out around 9PM and woke up on my own around 5:30 to head to work shortly after.
Going to go home and clean out the fridge, scrub the inside of it for the new people, and take inventory. After the last move I swore I would plan the food out better so we didn't have so SO SO many boxes of food to move! The only thing about the pantry is we hoard food in there and there's a ridiculous amount that I just keep buying more of. I think if I meal plan well enough we can really minimize that part of the move :)
I promise to be more positive in future posts as the stress slowly melts away! At least it's Friday ! :)
