Dominican Republic 2017 DAY ONE
We just so happened to have an awake little munchkin girl when we were ready to head out. We said goodbye to Garett the night before . When he left to spend a night at his granny's house.
Our uber took a while to arrive because of the weather. But we made it on time, skipped the huge line because we upgraded to options plus.
We sat at the restaurant in the airport ,had breakfast and watched lines of plows clearing runways.
I was happy to see we were in row 13. We had an amazing flight down. Smooth as glass. We received our free snack, bottle of champagne each and another drink each. I even napped a bit!:)
Upon arrival, we skipped another line since we already had our tourist cards. Our Amstar transfer was right on time, sitting there with Tyler's name. They took our luggage, loaded us into our private transfer and we were on our way! A quick 10 minute ride.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of champagne, our room upgrade , and immediately escorted there so we could get settled and ready for dinner.
Once we got settled into our room, we walked out to the preferred lounge to see a cigar demonstration starting. So they immediately handed tyler. Cigar , and a cigarillo to me went in, grabbed a drink and watched that for a while. Tyler was introduced to a new little gadget. A drink smoker chamber you put your drink in and it infuses it with a smoke taste. We used it as a conversation started ALOT. Haha 
We settled on Mexican for dinner since it was our favourite last time. But being spring break still it was busy and service at that restaurant wasn't as great so we reserved judgment lol
After dinner we set up our breakfast with our UVC rep and went right to bed. It was about 10 and we were pooped! We had a busy morning to follow too... stay tuned!
