random!

-the boys got in a few runs at the snow hill with Garett's new GT snowracer

-we have been whipping through "clean eating" recipes like crazy. Found maybe four or five we would eat everyday if we could, a few more "once in a while" recipes, and a bunch of "no thanks" ones. We will keep plugging away. Thank you, Pinterest!

-Garett has been talking ALOT about shook in September, and points out his school to me every time we drive by

-I finished Prison Break AND Wentworth. I am whipping through shows like crazy. Taking a break to catch up on some movies, teen mom, this is us and Nashville

-Keira crawls SO fast now. She sits up on her own, and also pulls herself up to standing (on EVERYTHING) and bounces. And says "mama" but nothing else lol. She is such a pleasant baby! I need my breaks still, but she is so good for whomever is watching!

-Keira has also eaten just about every food. All she's legitimately hated so far was avocado. But I think it wasn't ripe enough and was super gross , so can't say I blame her.

-organized every drawer and cupboard in my house and threw out like 6 garbage bags of stuff

-12 days to our trip. I have my grocery list, packing list, to do list, to buy list done. I just have to make Garett's packing list and execute it all!:)

-tyler picked up an epipen. With his allergy shots, his system is overloaded and he had a reaction to something the other day. So he has one now as precaution until his shots are done in a few years.

-dental cleaning for me on Tuesday (my last appt was cancelled since I had a double ear infection).

-mani/pedi booked, and I bought hair dye to do my hair. I have two grey hairs poking through

-tomorrow we are having another couple and their little kiddo over for some pulled pork and watching the red bull crashed.

-my car is due for service. So I have to make that appointment for when we get back. They think I've hit 8,000 km. Lol. I'm at 2200 in 6 months, and it had 400km on it when I got it. That includes like three Cornwall  trips, even. Obviously I haven't been driving around too far lol

-I am not giving up anything for lent.  Oh well

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
