How to prep for Girls Night

Our girls weekend this weekend has turned into a Girls Night, which I was sad about at first, but I have come around to the idea. I didn't really WANT to leave Ty and the kids for two whole nights, but the two days/one night away combo seems to be working with my anxiety levels :)

We are off to sunny Gananoque , lol!

We have a list of things we want to do, and see what we have time for! But in order to get ready for any decent girls night, here's what you need to do!

1) Book off a day in advance so that you can get all of your errands done with no little people in tow. This is CRUCIAL.

2) Schedule an appointment for your hair! I'm personally so, so, so, SO sick of my long shapeless hair, and I bet every other momma out there is too! So this is a must!
This time, I'm getting an angled bob. I'll keep it on the long side, but I can definitely do away with a few inches!

3) Schedule a mani/pedi. I just got lucky and remembered I had a gift card I got at Christmas, so the only thing I will have to pay for is the shellac! Nobody needs to see how much mystery dirt you have under your nails! And who cares how dirty your feet are if you have pretty toe nails! (Yes, we are staying at a hotel, but never underestimate girls night)

4) Go and buy a new outfit that makes you NOT feel like a mother of two that may or may not curl up and take a nap by 4PM. This time I will be popping into Rickis. I saw some cute stuff on their website that I want.

5) Rid your car of carseats, dust your dash and vacuum the seats and floor so your passengers aren't wondering how old those crumbs are. Replace the stroller and playpen in the back of your SUV with luggage and a giant cooler.

6) Go to the grocery store for SNACKS, the LCBO for fun juice, the dollar store for fun things you can convince yourself you need because they're only $4.00.

7) Make your playlist - Thank you amazon music. But also make a playlist on your apple music just in case (amazon music sadly doesn't have it ALL).

8)Get a good nights sleep the night before, because girls don't sleep when together.
