Weekend Recap
The past week/weekend was just a blur! Daycare was still closed for Keira, so she spent the days with my in laws, and getting all the attention she could handle lol. Today she is back to daycare :)

Friday night was a lot about relaxation. We ordered in dinner and kept the evening very simple.
Saturday morning we cleaned the house, ran some errands, relaxed and then got ready to go. The sitters came around 3:30 and we headed out to our friend Gibby's house for his 35th birthday bbq. We brought some cheese filled sausages and salad and feasted there until about 6:50 when Tyler's cousin picked us up to bring us to his aunt's house for his cousins surprise 30th birthday party. We stayed and ate and sang and visited until about 11:45 and headed home.

Sunday morning around 4 AM , the monitor started beeping like it wasn't plugged in. I checked and the cord was splitting near where it connect to the monitor, so I mcguyver'd (sp?) something, and went back to sleep for a bit.
Kids were up around 7, so we made some bacon and eggs and put on a movie. Heat warning was in effect, so it was going to be a quiet day. We were supposed to go to the family bbq, but it was too hot , and Keira ended up napping until almost 5:00. Before Keira's nap, we went to toys r us for a new baby monitor, and stopped to get a few groceries. After she woke up, we loaded up and went to Mandarin (one of my favs) to fill our stomachs of sushi and Chinese/American food until we almost throw up.
The kids are so obsessed with the fish ponds inside the front doors.
While we waited for the table to be ready, Tyler and I ordered a vacation-style drink each from the front bar while the kids stared at the fish right beside us. We were basically alone in the entire place, it was great!
Garett ate 8 sushi rolls, a plate of food, and a bowl of jello. I don't know where he puts it.
Little missy ate a little of everything, but her favourite (just like mommy) was the lemon chicken and garlic broccoli....then she ate three little cups of chocolate mousse with whipped cream on top lol
When we got home, they played so well and so quietly together until 7, when we did a quick bath and sent Keira to bed around 7:25. I was shocked she actually went, since she essentially woke up from her nap just to eat and go back to bed lol.
Garett went to bed at 8, so I laid out all of their clothes and mine for today, did some laundry, had a bath and we watched some House (we are currently binge watching this series).
