Recapping a Great Weekend!
Guys, I had such a great weekend. It started off wonderfully and really set the tone for the rest of it!
My cat, Steve, had been missing for 11 days. ELEVEN. He has one canine tooth left, he is not in the best of health, and he's 14 years old. ELEVEN DAYS outside.
Friday Tyler called me to call him when I got home. So I rushed home thinking maybe he had found him. I called Ty and he told me we were being invited to the Sens Gala, which is awesome, but I burst out crying because I was so disappointed it wasn't a Steve call.
So I opened a can of cat food and put it on the back deck. I decided to leave the screen door closed only, and as I turned to get the vacuum to clean up a mess Keira made, I heard Mika growling at the door. I ran over and saw Steve slowly climbing the steps, growling and hissing. So I grabbed Keira and pushed Mika away so I could slowly pull the food inside the house. He was hissing so much at me, Mika scratched my foot as I pushed her backwards. I finally got the food inside and left the door open and prayed. I brought Mika upstairs and locked her in my room with Marty and slowly went back down to see if Steve had come in. He did! Keira screamed "STEVE" and he almost ran out the door again, but I ran faster and slammed the patio door closed. He was back! I called Tyler, I called my parents, I called my sister. I think I cried for an hour lol

Shannon came over for a drink while the boys were at a family bbq with the kids. They were home soon enough and we were putting all the kids to bed.
Saturday, Garett went out with Tyler for a bit and came home shortly before Keira went for her nap. When they got home, Garett and I loaded up and headed to Landmark to see Incredibles 2 (AMAZING movie--better than the first!), and then played in the arcade for a while and dined at Five Guys before heading home. We played a bit more and soon enough it was bedtime.

Here's where the boys went Saturday morning..Tyler upgraded his Harley. So now we have a Harley Sportster to sell if anyone is looking :)

Sunday was a lazy morning. We went to the grocery store to get snacks and stuff for dinners, and we all had a short nap. Tyler headed out around 12:30 to pick Stephane up at the Ferry and when Keira woke up, I loaded up the kids, stopped to pick up Shan and Rylie, and we headed to Gracie OMalleys for a "surprise" (no longer a surprise) party for Grandpa Terry's 70th. The kids were PUMPED UP
Keira didn't stop dancing. Wouldn't eat anything ,and hated me for making her wear ear protection of any sort.

Garett was his shy self, but took his tambourine job VERY seriously.

Keira liked the cake

It was nice to catch up a bit and have a cold pint.

Once we left, we just stopped for a quick bite and headed home and they went right to bed, and mom and dad were NOT far behind :)
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
I will be silent this week likely, as I am working a different job this week. Have a good one!
