Weekend/Girls Night recap

After going for my nails and a pedicure with Shannon prior, I booked a hair appointment on the Friday morning after I dropped the kids off.


I think I stayed a little too long in the back, but it was very important to me that I was still able to put my hair up (it's in a pony tail today and looks insanely hilarious though with the asymmetrical bob LOL).


After I finished up there, I stopped at the grocery store, the dollar store, shoppers and walmart and went home to pack.


Saturday morning, we were all up before 6, except for Keira (thanks Garett lol), and we lounged a bit, the kids ate breakfast while I got ready. Tyler loaded my car for me and I headed to Richmond to pick up Ashlee and Amber. Ty took the kids to the beach, then for a swim at his moms house, and they had swiss chalet for dinner. He had a nice night with them :)










We were in Gananoque by 11:30, so we tried to check in (usually its at 3PM). She said if we went to have lunch, the cleaner may be done in our room. So we went to eat at the adjoining restaurant "Cousins on King." I had a really yummy banana daiquiri and their version of bruschetta (with shredded brussel spouts, roasted red peppers, bacon, brie, and a honey balsamic glaze). I was really enjoying the food and then I found a big chunk of plastic I bit down on. Needless to say that severely affected my enjoyment of the food lol.





We headed over to check in and the other girls arrived. We were given adjoining rooms, which was awesome! We had a few drinks, and took a taxi down to the water. We ate dinner at Muskie Jakes on the patio. I just had the perogies and a drink. It was good! And what a beautiful spot!

After we settled up our bill, we went across the street to Stonewater Pub and Irish Eatery. We headed to the pub in the basement. It was a TINY little bar, but it had such a great atmosphere. We picked a big square booth right near the front and ordered some Gin/lemonade pitchers, sangria pitchers and caesars pitchers.

A band named Adyn Townes played, and they were really good! Mostly original music. We really enjoyed it.

After we left, we grabbed a taxi and headed to Mcdonalds across from our hotel. Pardon the theft of this picture from Ashlees snapchat lol

We stayed up WAY too late chatting after we got back, had many laughs, and I STILL woke at like 7AM. I fell back asleep a few times before we got up at 10AM.

We loaded up all of our stuff, said our goodbyes, grabbed some mcdonalds again for the ride, and drove back to Richmond to drop the girls off, and back home to my beautiful family :)

PS Yes steve is still missing
