Hump Day

Happy hump day, everyone! We are halfway through the week that is another chaotic week for me. I will be very happy when June is over! Work wise, it is a very tiring month!

When I got home yesterday, Ty had already set up the big mosquito trap. We put it in the area with the stalest air to see what we would catch, and we caught like 20 overnight! We will move it to downwind as suggested and see what we catch then :)

Here it is next to Keira, for size comparison lol It emits a warm co2 as well as attractant, and as they approach, there is also vaccuming of air and they get trapped in a basket thing. Hopefully this solves a lot of our issues,  or at least reduces it!

Yesterday, our good friends (Garett's Godparents), Rod and Sharon, picked up the keys to their new house. They asked us to bring the kids over since it's pretty close to our house now,  just up the road in Cheney. So Ty rode his motorcycle over, and I drove the kids. We got a tour of their home (really beautiful! It was the builder/developers home, so it has everything you could imagine!), and the boys went to grab food from the local chip truck and we did a picnic feast.

Their son and daughter in law and two grandkids (same ages and genders as ours), and Sharon's brother and sister in law popped in to. We unpacked just little stuff for décor and the kitchen/bathrooms. They will continue to move small stuff in through the week, but Saturday is the big day for them!

The kids had so much fun running around in a big empty house, and they found a little friends through the fence while outside :) The men enjoyed a stogie by the firepit.

When we got home, we immediately threw the kids in the bath, gave them a snack and it was off to bed early. We managed to watch an episode of GoT and a bit of a second one before Tyler got a call-he had to run a demo for the point of sale system he sells. I was asleep before he came up around 11 (ahh, international calls), so we didn't get to finish the episode.

Tomorrow is Garett's last Beavers meeting. Last week was picture day, and he was covered in marker and paint from school. oh well! lol.

Friday is my 9 year anniversary with cbsa :) Another busy weekend ahead, and a BIG week next week- last day of kindergarten for G, Keira finishes at Cindy's house, and Shannon has her BABY! :)

Happy rest of the week, all!
