Look Ahead

This week has been a lazy hectic. As in there is always something on the go, and we always seem to be busy, but I also feel we are sitting around a lot (probably because I am getting over a cold and don't want to get more sick!).

Yesterday I was working from home, but logged off early to head to Garett's school. Him and I were decorating a little individual gingerbread house, and another little boy didn't have a parent there, so I helped him also. I checked Garett out early, and we went to Walmart to get some Christmas wrap stuff, and to get gas. We went back to the school to get Keira and then popped over to our old daycare providers house to wish her a Happy Birthday (gave her some magnets of the kids school pictures and some framed pictures), and a Merry Christmas (gave her a google home) and we were on our way home. I made a vegetable lasagna with alfredo sauce for dinner and wrapped all of the teacher/ECE gifts.

Today we brought all the school people gifts in, and I am SO happy it's Friday. Today is "plaid/flannel" day at school, so the kids both have on some plaid shirts. But this morning was a bit hectic packing lunch, making breakfast, getting kids dressed and bundled up and out the door with the gifts and school bags and snow pants.

Tomorrow our neighbours are having a tacky Christmas party, which I may swing by for for a little bit if the sitter is free- Tyler has yet another gig for two sets. On the other hand, I may just stay home because I am not feeling a loud Christmas party right now-more like Nyquil and early to bed lol.

Sunday, I want to have Ty take the kids somewhere for a bit in the morning, or I'll retreat to the heated garage to so a bunch of Christmas wrapping and sort the gifts. I also have to plan more elf on the shelf things and get whatever supplies I need. I bought a GIANT bag of mini marshmallows so I plan on lots of hot chocolate this weekend :)

Monday is delivery day to the Boys & Girls Club for the Angel Tree program I organized at work. I also have to bring in the kids "santa" gifts for our Christmas eve party at work, and get plans ready for boxing day brunch at our house.

I also have to get to the memorial center to sign the contract for Garett's party, and to the new doctors to sign everyone's transfer file authorization and pay the $35 per person to get it sent over.

Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!!
