Another week comes to a start. How does Monday always seem to sneak up so quick, but the hunt for Friday seems to take forever?!
This weekend was pretty relaxed but VERY fast!!!
Friday night, after I got to my car at the Park and Ride, I headed into town to meet Amber at Boston Pizza on Innes. We both arrived a bit early, so we went in shortly before 6. We ordered our food after about 10 minutes--quite a while later, 2 plates were delivered to us that definitely were not our meals, so we told the waitress and they took them away. I guess we were waiting quite a while after that (we weren't aware because we both like to talk a lot and time was flying by), but the waitress came out with our food--followed by the Manager coming over with a new plate for Amber's as they realised they made a mistake and put mushrooms in hers--he informed us that the meals were on the house because we had waited so long. Again, we were totally oblivious to how long we waited but weren't going to argue :) We both had a small dessert afterwards and the bill was less than 10 bucks! lol I tipped the waitress well for being so sweet and we went on our way! I had to go to Home Outfitters and Walmart afterwards to buy a gift for my mom for her birthday. We parked in the expectant moms parking--my very first time ever! We were so excited to be so close to the door haha After shopping, I was so pooped I had to go home--Amber had offered me to go over for a quick visit at her place but it was already about 9:45 and I had to drive home still and I just couldn't pull myself together to do it :( I headed home and threw on some PJ's as soon as I walked in. I cuddled up on the couch in the basement and watched the episode of Snooki and JWow I missed on Thursday and couldn't keep my eyes open so I dragged myself upstairs to bed!
Saturday morning I woke up early to get myself and Tyler packed while he went into town for a computer part. When he came home, we headed to Cornwall.
As soon as we got there almost, the boys took off to St. Lawrence Pools (My dad found out Ty and I are looking at hot tubs lol) and I stayed back with my mom :) They came back (Ty didn't purchase anything, thank God lol)
After that, we went to Sport Chek so the boys could look at golf stuff (and I picked out the clubs I want when I take it up lol) and we decided to head out to Archie's golf/mini put from there. The boys bought some buckets of balls and went to the driving range--we decided to just watch them instead of mini golfing because there were so many families there, we would have been doing a lot of waiting between puts. Once they were done, we headed to dinner at Au Vieux Duluth--it was very good! I had canneloni stuffed with a puree of filet mignon, feta and spinach. mmmm.
After dinner, we headed back to the house and ate some cake and visited for a while before heading to bed!
In the morning, we woke up and Ty and dad headed to my aunt lucy/uncle pete's house to look at how much concrete they will need for their new garage pad--then we all headed out to brunch at the Parkway.
We had to leave right from the Parkway so Ty could get back on time for golf since he had to drop me off at home and change first! He left 10 mins later after we got home and I relaxed for a bit, then cleaned up, did lots of laundry and dishes and caught up on my PVR stuff :) When Ty got home, we ordered some dinner and watched TV together. I put some laundry away, took a bath and headed to bed to read a bit. Wasn't long before I couldn't keep my eyes open, so off to sleep I went :)
Now here we are, Monday again. Hopefully this week goes by as quickly as last week :)
