Have I mentioned how much I freaking love my husband??? I had an ok day yesterday--as in--it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. Nothing particularily wonderful happened--and then it was raining when I was waiting 30 minutes for the bus with no umbrella lol wonderful! So I decided to text my hubby and tell him how unenthused I was about being in the rain and the bus being late since I knew he would understand being at work in the rain himself :) We also discussed how hungry we were (lol) and I said I had no idea for dinner yet since we have hardly any groceries (tonight is grocery night) and that I would just deal with it when I got home (which was going to be a bit later since our driver was a female and for some reason, the female OC drivers are slow pokes). I got home around 5:45 and Ty greeted me at the door. I went pee first and then he said to just come downstairs so we could watch the episode of The Walking Dead we had missed on Sunday. I was like, "I can't :( I have to cook supper" and he's like--no just come down. He had brought home a ton of chinese food (mmmmm)which was extra fantastic since I have been wanting it so bad since I smelled it at work the other day. I was SO happy to not have to cook AND he stopped and got a few staple items we needed :) I appreciate the help so much now--even one night of not cooking or having to stop for an errand is a HUGE help, and I am so thankful to have him. AND he did 2 loads of laundry last night :) I love him lol. We relaxed for the evening and I did some Christmas shopping online in bed (only Ty's gift though--still a long list to go through :( ). Yesterday before I headed home, a guy from my office came in to tell me (I was alone in my office lol) that he had been in a meeting with the managers and advisors last week and just wanted me to know that my Director had a lot of great things to say about me--which is nice considering we (the admins) had a meeting with her and the Manager's a while back and I left feeling defeated--like everything I do is wrong and unappreciated. But she was apparently singing my praises through the meeting. Good to know--maybe she'll be a reference for me when I do come back then ;) lol Today should be a quiet day with 2 of the 3 Managers out on travel and the Director out on travel as well--so I plan on making my grocery list and doing some more shopping between taskings! I'm hoping it's quiet enough that I can slip out early! Not that I mind staying extra time everyday, but when people are expecting me to always be here--it's tiring. I might even go out at lunch and grab some stuff for Christmas :o Do I dare?! lol hehehe it makes me giddy when I can accomplish things through the day! Anyways, hope everyone enjoys their hump day!!!
