{weekend at a glance}
I am so , so , so happy it's Friday.
I am also fairly content with how quickly this day is going so far (by saying that it is inevitable that the afternoon passes slowly now lol).
So here's the plans for the weekend!
Tonight, I am heading home afterwork--pick up G and head home. Tyler will be home before us probably, so it will give me a chance to shower and do my hair and stuff. We are going to head into town around 5:30 to drop G-man off with his Granny and Grandpa for the night. After we get him settled in there to play for a few hours before he goes to bed, we will head down to the Market.
We are hitting up one of our favourite places Vineyards, and will consume as many crab cakes as I can shove into me. Tyler is going to consume their "buck a shuck" oyster buffet, and we might eat some food of real substance too, who knows :) We always find something unique and different to drink here, since they have so many different beers, wines, liqueurs that are harder to find in other places, and thanks to their Sommelier behind the bar, they always find a way to wet our whistles in a pleasant way.
Once we can barely move, we will hop in a cab over to Elgin Street to watch a show at Yuk Yuk's (ever hear of Rob Pue? He's hilarious). This show doesn't start until like 9, so I imagine we will be there for a few hours.
Our friends Rod and Sharon might come out and meet us for the show (or after for a night cap and perhaps a late night meal at Elgin Street Diner :)), and then I believe we will be sleeping at their house. We tried to get a hotel, but it was too last minute and everywhere close by was booked up!? So weird on a random weekend!
Saturday morning, we will grab the little, and perhaps hit up a broadways, or the Kozy Nest for some breakfast. I plan on catching up on all of the laundry, and relaxing on the couch! Tyler is heading to Gatineau for an anniversary party for his aunt and uncle, and I suspect maybe gone for the night, or gone out until at least midnight, so it will be just G and I after dinner!
Sunday will be hopefully nice (I think they're calling for cooler and rainy though?). Depending on the weather, we will either play outside, or stay in and go shopping, maybe bring G to DQ for a treat (he doesn't get many of them now with the healthy eating, and I know he enjoys it big time lol).
Hopefully it's a nice laid back weekend for the most part, and hope everyone else enjoys theirs as well!!
