Oh what a night

I can't. 
What a chaotic night, lol

Keira was coming off an essentially zero nap day (I think she sensed what was coming lol), and Garett was excited (understatement of the year). Throw in two other toddlers and 6 adults , and it was...loud. Hectic. Dare I say Fun? Lol

I imagine hallowe'en will get easier. I will miss these crazy days. When Halloween is a magical day to transform--Garett truly believed he was a vampire once the makeup was on. And when I see 14 year olds with fat pillow cases, I dread those days. Of struggling between the idea of letting my too-old child trick or treat, or allowing them to instead go to a party :/. 

We ordered In pizza. The kids barely ate because it was go time. Girls stayed home to hand out candy (except my SIL who took her kiddo out )

Keira and I had run to party city in the day to grab a few interior Halloween things. Plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, the spiders ,tassel banner, tissue paper balls (not shown, but I hung them above the candy bowl from my clock), a spider sling game, table centrepiece. 

The bigger things were things I had from previous years !



Keira and I spent the afternoon playing and cleaning and decorating before my mother in law came around 5 pm.

Everyone left around 7:30 ish and we put Keira down immediately, and got Garett's makeup off, teeth brushed , quick bath to wash out the "black hair spray" and stories read. He was in bed by 8:15,but definitely awake until like 9:45 unless he was just having a restless sleep, I heard him moving a lot. 

Keira woke at 3:30 for her nighttime feed and only drank half of the bottle. She couldn't stay awake for the rest. We slept in until 8. The boys were long gone. Usually I wake up to them getting ready, but we were too tired. 

I woke up and pumped, had a quick breakfast , fed Keira , watched an episode of brothers &sisters, got us both dressed, and now here we are :) 10 am and we have accomplished nothing hah

The headband is from Carters, and the creams chiffon flower has gold flecks in it. I can't find it anywhere online, but I bought it at toys r us. 

The pants I also can't find anymore. They are ruffle bum, and are made by "small wonders" 


Little miss is down for her nap, and I may follow suit. We don't have any big plans for today, and the frost is still on the neighbours roof . So I'm not in a hurry to make any plans haha. Hope everyone had a wonderful, safe Halloween!!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
