Thursday thoughts


I'm literally so tired today, I'm barely functioning.

Last night the boys finished taking down the  halloween decor, we had a big dinner and headed to walmart as a family. 

Garett woke at 6:15 this morning (an hour earlier than usual), and was rubbing my hair to wake me up lol. So I got up with him, he got dressed, we did a few workbook pages and Tyler took him to daycare on his way to work. 

Keira slept from 9:30-3am, and then from. 3:30am-10. When she got up , she ate and we got dressed.

The headband is Carters, the shoes I can't find online. I got them off Zulily--made by Laura Ashley. 

Once we were ready , we headed to party city for plates and cups, napkins and tablecloths for her baptism. Garett's  new suit and shoes were finally delivered the other day, so I have to get him to try it all on at some point!

I'm feeling so lazy today. I'll start prepping dinner next time Keira goes for a nap, I guessssss lol

I started the last season of brothers and sisters today. Not a fan since everything changed  at the end of season 4, but I will see it through ! 

Tomorrow Keira and I are going to visit my work people :) so hopefully everything goes as planned! I will throw the stroller in my trunk tonight. Conveniently I will be parking at a grocery store, so maybe get some errands for dinner too :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
