Some recap


We had a pretty low key weekend.
Friday was mostly just relaxing  tyler and g did some errands and yard work  Keira and I blew bubbles and colored with chalk


Saturday the boys left early and Keira and I met them afterwards at my mother in laws for a swim and BBQ and visit


We were in bed early. Sunday we emptied out the garage of all the stuff we don't need in there. Next we have to tackle the shelves. They are so disorganized , and I can't handle looking at them anymore.

Our neighbour snipped thisboff her plant and gave to Garett to give to me. He was so excited and proud that he got me my own real flower without daddy having to buy it for him lol so cute!

Monday Garett was back at Cindy's. He was so excited that he got dressed and brushed his teeth before he came into our room.

He had a great day there , then we played a bit and packed up for swimming lessons. He had been practicing going under water,so was very eager to show his teacher and his swimming class friend. He did SO well. His instructor could even believe he was the same child. His fear has been conquered, and now we can move on and learn!



Then we came home, had a quick spaghetti and meatball dinner, and tried out his new NERF hoverflood. The kids were asleep by 7:30, so we watched two episodes of suits and went to bed!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
