Things I love Tuesday

This Tuesday, I love:


1) I should find out next week sometime if I get the new position at work! I fluctuate between confidence and self-doubt, so we shall see :)

2) Tomorrow I am receiving a President's award for going above and beyond at work. I am pretty excited!

3) Also sitting in on a few interviews being held tomorrow, so it should help the rest of the day pass quickly.


4) Thursday I am working from home in the morning before going over to the EY center for CANSEC (Canadian Global Defense and Security Tradeshow)to try and find some solutions for a few of our projects at work, but I also see that the RCAF cyclone helicopter will be there, so obviously that will be the highlight of my day lol


5) Friday at lunch I have to head to Orleans to finally pick up all of our new life insurance papers. I already have the kids, but our new policies took forever to be vetted. We didn't need to get new bloodwork or anything at least, which I'm sure helped the process.


6) Saturday morning I made an appointment to chop off some major hair. Not sure what I want yet-I am on the fence.


7) Saturday is also the Ride for Dad. I know Ty was hoping to make it, but not sure if he will be able to because of my hair appt. oops.


8) Looking forward to a relaxing weekend!


9) Making my packing list for Buffalo next week, and for the kids!


10) Downloading ALL of the Hanson music. Last time when I went to see Hanson, I was pregnant. This time I am going to consume some beverages and dance with my eyes closed.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
