What a day! Friday , yay! But it wasn't the anticipated Friday I was looking forward too. I woke up this morning around 2am (after having gone to bed around 10) and couldn't get back to sleep. My head was SO congested I thought my eyeballs may explode. Arou d 3:30 when I realized it wasn't going to get much better, I called in sick to work for the day and tried to get some more sleep. I got another hour or so, which was good! When I woke up, I decided to check my Facebook...low and behold, no Internet accessibility. I had called a few days ago to upgrade my plan since I was paying so much for so little it seemed..the changes were to take place this morning since it's the beginning of my billing cycle. Anyways, the non-English fella that helped me totally screwed up my plan..and added me to online billing which I did not ask for, in fact, I had specified that I wanted to stay on paper billing lol...anyway, I call Rogers at around 7:30 very mad..the non English woman tells me she can't access my account for "some reason" and to call back in a bout an hour..I curse a bit and ask whynshe thinks she can't access it..she insists on transferring me to IT who won't be able to do anything since I was on my cell..so I hung up and called 2 hours later. Finally, someone English! She fixed up my plan and was so confused about what was on there. Grrr..oh well..at least it got fixed ASAP :) Around 9:15, I was cuddled up on the couch and poof, the power shuts off. We waited about 10 minutes and then I called Embrun hydro. She tells me they're working on installing new power lines in our area and it could be out until 2 pm. Ugh! So Ty and I ( he was also home sick today) got dressed and headed out to Hardstones since we needed some breakfast and I had to owe ( for those of you that don't know how wells work..you cant used the water when the power is off since the pump no longer works) so we were there for a bit and came home to wait it out. On the way we stopped one of the power guys and he said maybe noon...anyways around 1:30 it switched on...never realize how much you need power to run your life. Scary! I proceeded to lounge around catching up on pvr stuff all day with Ty:) He made some kraft dinner for supper ( fancy) and we watched some breakin bad. I decided I was bored so I made this recipe I found on Pinterest of chocolate cookies with a creamy peanut butter middle...omg, so good! Cleaned up a bit and am resting more! Tmorrow we are going to a birthday for Ty's cousin and I want to make sure we're not too under the weather or we won't be going anywhere so we're really taking it easy tonight. Either way, I'm thinking Ty can drive there and I'll drive home around 1 or so and compromise...for those of you that know pregnancy well, you probably know how extremely uncomfortable it is staying somewhere else...I don even like sleeping at my parents house lol..if it's not my bed I am NoT comfy. Sunday I was hopingon catching up on some precooking and the last of the laundry. I need to look online for a bag suitable to turn into a hospital bag. I'm thinking just lime a TNA bag since they're big and I will be able to use it for so long after too :) wise investment. Anyways..hope you all had a wonderful Friday!!! Enjoy your weekends :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
