Day 2 of working 9-5 and I will admit I don't mind it nearly as much as I thought I would--but shhh :) lol I went to bed last night around 8:30 I was so exhausted..this cold has really just drained everything out of me. I slept right through until 6:30 this morning--I must have really needed that sleep! 10 hours of solid sleep finally!!! No waking up in the night from coughing or sore throats or stuffed noses...I still had all those things when I woke up, it just didn't keep me up lol--Tyler had a rough time sleeping though--he was up and around a few times in the night trying to get comfy and failed miserably--poor guy, had an awful sleep! Oh well :) As the day goes on I feel a bit better--and I've been eating nothing but soup for lunches and juice or water all day so here's hoping that's helping! I think I may stay home tomorrow--I switched a day with Ashlee since I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, so I would only be calling in for half the day. Plus, it'll save the gas and money for parking for 3 hours. Then I can sleep in and get to my last docs appointment at 1 (I rescheduled our vaccines until the 29th so we wouldn't be sick when we went). Excited to see what she says at this appointment--things are a little more real even still now that I know this is the last time I will see the family doc and move on to seeing our delivery doctor at the hospital. Eeek!! 14 more weeks :) The Director's admin is not here today so I'm acting for her as well--I guess it's at least passing the day quickly! :) 1)I can't believe tomorrow is already Weds 2) I can't believe October is already half over!! Time is just flying, I tell ya! Yesterday I ordered the party favours for my Cornwall Baby Shower--they are SO cute! Will post pictures after it takes place :) I am so excited to see peoples reactions lol..and my invites should be coming in the mail today or tomorrow so I can get those sent out next week :) I'm hoping we an get to the stores sometime this weekend since we were too sick last weekend to finish our registries! I need to go in and see all the major things and play around with them for quality and ease of use before I put them on..the tough, time consuming part!! We are doing our Maternity pictures on Sat Oct 27--so stay tuned for those pictures too :) I know, I'm super exciting today! lol I think I better go before I really put anyone to sleep now haha..Enjoy your Tuesday!!!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
