Monday Again

So it's Monday--and Monday is almost over even, things are WAY more hectic around my home now. Garett has learned to roll from his back to tummy in the last few days, and let me tell you, he LOVES to do this and does it everytime he's on his back. He can't crawl, but he certainly has the concept down pat and scoots all over the place, meaning, unless he's locked into his bouncer or in his exersaucer, all H-E-double hockey sticks can break loose in a few moments if I dare to blink.

He also hates napping, loves songs, story books, cuddles, playing with his toys, eating, standing and jumping around (with assistance)...which I LOVE, but really--I can't even wash dishes during the day that's how much attention he demands lol. He's definitely an intelligent little guy. (I love him hehe).

Friday night Ty and I stayed in and tried to clean the house a bit (fail). Ended up going to bed early after gorging on veggies and dip and a few cheese curds.

Saturday Ty had to go to a rehearsal with his band in the A.M, came home and we watched The Campaign (hilarious) and bought Les Miserables but didn't feel like watching it at all, so we packed 'er in after taking turns taking bubble baths :) ---I blame all these early nights on the gloomy overcast weather!

Sunday my parents came up to hang out with G-man while Tyler went to his gig for Roger's House and I met up with the ladies to get our Bridesmaid shirts made for Doll's wedding (And a Bulk Barn trip, in which I have surrendered over to Tyler since I am trying to eat better). I had a club sandwich and some fries while we were out and it was so good but I paid the price the rest of the evening, I felt so sick! So no dinner for me! Just some juice, advil and bed!

Let me take a moment now that we're caught up to convey my annoyance of customer service in general these days. I had ordered a pair of cowboy boots from Spring like 2 weeks ago. I was starting to get annoyed at how long they were taking to get here because usually they're here within 2 days. So I emailed them. They just credited me the cost and said they weren't shipped to me---even though I have a confirmation email--now there is none of my size (only size 11 left) on the site and the other colour of them is still $80. UGH. Whatever, that's fine. It just seems like everywhere I go there's an irritated waitress, poor telephone customer service reps, teenagers running a cash that couldn't care less or something of that nature. What happened to customer service?! ......enough with that rant :)

Father's Day is coming up and I have the perfect gifts for my dad already--I want to do so many things for Tyler, but none of them make since if I mix and match. Should I go for a better gift (remembering he bought me golf clubs and gorgeous flowers for mothers day) or a more thoughtful cheaper route--I hate this decision!

I'm feeling the itch for new furniture. In the basement, we want a new sectional with a lounge chair on the end  and upstairs I want some over sized couches made from that corduroy material. My issue is I HATE getting rid of furniture. I wish I could just have a huge storage unit to put it all in in case I want to use it again. I'm not one for holding onto things--I can throw cards away, old clothes (still sometimes hard), cutlery, cups, sheets, shower curtains, all these things--I don't get attached to much---but furniture...I don't know what it is, I am obsessed with keeping it all lol.

Anyways, Garett is wanting to get off the floor and into his exersaucer I think, so I must cut this short. Sorry for the very random thoughts today, I am feeling so distracted. I hope everyone had a good weekend! :)
