Summertime.!

I can feel summer on days like this. It is SO nice out and it makes me excited for all things coming up. Stay tuned for those recaps:)

Yesterday I got a short notice visit from my folks while Ty was out at work, which was nice:) After they left for some shopping in ottawa, Ty got home and I headed in to do groceries. When I got home, their car was here again, so we had another nice little visit :) it was bed time almost immediately after they left since Garett just needed a bottle and was out for the night! 

We had been playing (Gman and I) since about 9, so he just passed out for a nap and thought I may take advantage of this time to blog! :) 

I cannot believe it's only Weds though! The weeks where you're looking forward to the weekend always seem SO slow!! 

Some things I am looking forward to:

- dolls wedding
- cousins night
- Canada day festivities 
- family time
- bday parties
- jersey shore night pt 2
- our anniversary 
- etc..

There are so many things to look forward to on top of the fun I have everyday with my boy :) life is good!

Oh! Also, before I leave...my new addiction snack. Joe's cranberry and granola Blend! It's so yummy! Get some! Just for when you're like I'm starving NOW and don't want to wait for something to cook (which is my life when I'm busy all day and don't have time to make a real breakfast or lunch). Keeps you full longer than whatever else you may grab and eat as an alternative too! That's all for now. Not much to say today and have lots of bottles to clean while my boy sleeps :) happy hump day!!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
