Friday's are Fabulous!
After being sick the majority of the week last week, this week has felt particularly L-O-N-G. Monday feels like a lifetime ago, for real!
Garett had a bit of a rough night the night before last, waking up at like 4:30 AM wanting to watch Caillou?? He never seizes to amaze me lol. He watched an episode and went back to sleep without issue....what the heck?? lol Yes, I often wake up in the wee hours NEEDING to watch my favourite show too. Guess what sweetheart? Life doesn't work like that haha...well...actually, I guess it does when you're two and have mommy and daddy wrapped around your little finger lol.
So that resulted in zero naps to be had yesterday, since him and Tyler slept in until 9:30 (where is the justice here? I still had to wake up at 6am!! No fair....insert pouty face/tantrum here). On the upside, snacks were had at 7:30, and bed was entered at 8:30. I finished off the new episode of Snooki and Jwoww on my PVR, and drifted off to sleep (heaven). No 4:30 wake up call today--praise Jesus that that is not a new habit haha. I was very worried for a second there.
Last night I got some decorations put up, and some balloons inflated. Tonight I have to go to the local bakery and pick up some stuff I ordered for tomorrow, and then finish with the decorating (for the most part). Tomorrow I have to go to the grocery store for 8am and pick up the platters I ordered and tidy up the rest of the house. I'm tired already. Sunday Ty is at work, but I am SO looking forward to a quiet day of doing nothing with my little guy on his actual birthday. We will eat yogurt tubes, sing happy birthday a thousand times, and watch many cartoons while cuddling :)
There isn't too much going on at work today, so I'm hoping it goes fast regardless :( It's 7:49 and I'm already all caught up on the 10 blogs that were on my blogroll this morning :( Days like this cost me a lot of money in online shopping..ugh.
Tonight, as my reward for getting lots and lots of stuff done, I am going to sneak into bed early (after G goes to sleep) and watch the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars in the dark!! haha (daring, eh?).
Since I had a bunch of errands after work last night, I decided to just pick up one of those frozen entrée things. I picked a loaded chicken casserole thing--supposed to be noodles, with chicken and broccoli in a white sauce....it tasted good, but it was 90% chicken, which is super annoying. I made some pasta to throw in and toss with it, since I didn't want a meal of just frozen chicken and white sauce lol. G liked it a lot, but I was a snob and declared that that would be the last time I bought that crap lol. A definite miss PC Products. A definite miss.
Anyways, not much is new on my end ! Off to cruise the world wide web for the next 7 hours (with a walk and a lunch in there somewhere lol)....yippee ..Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!!
